  4. I went the the pool yesterday. The water was crisp, cold, and the smell of chlorine stung my nostrils. When i submerged myself I couldn’t help but think about what it had felt like to be a fetus, floating in my mothers protected womb.

  6. I like to swim at the pool. It is fun to dive in and if you just jump and don’t think about it like how I am writting It is totally amazing to see all the wacky jumps you can come up with. So go to the pool and JUST JUMP!

  10. The pool of oily black liquid frightened me, but I had to escape. It was slick and sticky at the same time, somehow, which seemed like such an unfair breach of logic that I wanted to protest. Although slippery and sticky aren’t opposites, I suppose, it still seemed impossible.

  24. I jumped into the pool, naked, and let my body slice through the cool stillness of the water. I could feel the warmth coursing through my body, battling with the cold, but loving it as well. I hit the bottom and lay down flat. Opening my eyes, the moon and the stars shimmered as the ripples settled, finally deciding on their places, calm and perfect through the crystal clearness of the six feet of water above me.
