I want to be in one.

The pool is so much fun no matter how old you are. If you’re five you can play in it. If you’re twenty five you can play in it. Or it can be a romantic place to hang with your boo. Or you can just get tan.

i want to swim. or shoot some balls. pool in many aspects can be quite sociable!

swimming in the blue water

I jumped into the pool, and then remembered that I couldn’t swim. How had I managed to forget such a basic premise. I didn’t know, but my body remembered that I didn’t know how to swim, and I began to sink, water filling my lungs. I thought, this is where old age gets you, you forget the most basic stuff. Shit.

swimming in a pool is exhilarating. however water which fills a pool reminds me of fluids and fluid statics and fluid dynamics which coincidentally i hate right now. SO i love something that fills me with hatred. Joy…
Sadie
The clear pool was so inviting, I just had to jump in. I was poised, ready to dive, when I noticed a thin string of blackish looking beads floating. They were like mini black pearls. As I looked more closely I realized that they were streaming out behind two toads. One on top of the other.

I was swimming in the pool and I thought, “why not?” I pooped in it, right there in the pool. Like in caddyshack where they think it’s poop but it’s a candy bar–only Bill Murray would have a much worse taste in his mouth.

Into the pool. Thoughts of Preston at the pool up at the lake (seems redundant, I know) in the summers. He loves the water. Mental image is of me, in the water, while he gets out, and begins to run around the edge. I tell him to stop. He, of course, ignores me.
Kevin
In the darkest hour, musky scent of an old couch. Shoulders pressed tight, words stretching out like cheerful music through the night.

I walked very carefully, careful not to slip on the wet tiles around the pool. Nervously, I turn my head to glance at the people in the water, so gracefully ploughing through the water.

Swimming pool, a cool place to escape the heat of the sun, on a sweltering summers day there is nothing better than jumping into a cool swimming pool, and having someone pass you a cold beer!
Simon Oram
Refreshing pool – the man beside the Bethesda pool – a place to renew and unwind. A place to have my problem dealt with and resolved. I am reminded of a relaxing pool today.
Nickyboy
little kids peeing in the pool. water surrounding them turning blue due to the chemicals.

Pool can mean very different things. It can refer to a group. It also can refer to a place where one can swim.

I used to spend my summers at the pool, where the lifeguards knew my group of friends and I, though I bet they wished they didn’t know us, as we made them earn their paychecks, watching out over our antics, guarding our lives through endless games of Marco Polo and Sharks & Minnows, swim races, hand stands, “Spider”, and Martha Washington Hair (the game).
Kristy
great place to spend a hot summer day. Indoor and outdoor, above ground and in-ground all offer refreshment I like jumping off the diving board
Susan
Pool parties and swimming at night with the colorrama pool lights on crazy kids jumping into the shallow end or on top of each trying to drown one another why am i remembering his 14th birthday after all these years cuz it really was that great of a day one of the only happy memories in all of those long years.

Swimming pool was a good thing in my life when i was young. I liked to go to the portuguese club and swin there… sometimes for all the afternoon. I used to swim there but i did not enter in a competition. I preffered to play Basketball by the same club and by my school team.

The pool froze over duly well to the climate’s attribution. Unfortunately, it was me who was present in it; I cannot tell whether or not it was my mother’s idea or mine that I head out in five in the morning trying to exercise.
Oh well, I might as well do it naked.
Girls passed me by wondering what I was doing. I invited them. They declined.

The kids splashed around in the pool. It had been ages since Samantha had gotten in herself, now she just preferred to lounge around the edge. Until, of course, she met her eyes with Tyler’s and knew that she was done for.
She stood up for her chair and began drifting towards the shallowest end of the pool. She put one foot in and then the other, and began walking his way.

Pool? *lol* I am thinking dirty things now. XD
No, allright, let’s be serious. It’s a great location a pool. You relax yourself, maybe it’s even a whirlpool. You share it with a nice guy or girl… well, there they are: Dirty thoughts again! Don’t!
Liyah
cool.

Once there was a girl who was sitting by a swimming pool when she saw thisincredibly hotboy across the way. He looked to be about 3 years older than she was and yet she was entraned. Little did she know this boy had seen her too. He had been watching her across the waysince she moved in, three weeks ago.

Every Tuesday night I spent an hour and a half in the pool, working out. I still have pings of “Just be lazy, stay home!” occasionally, but after a few weeks, its easy to ignore. The call of the pool is strong. It’s a rush. A relief. Some time just for me.
Rebecca
Insects grazed the edge of its surface, along with moss, fallen leaves. I gazed into the muddy water without a reflection to gaze back at me. Thinking nothing of it, I lunged in – fully dressed – in one leap. Submerged, I opened my eyes and was still able to see nothing.

ugh, What I would do to sit in a pool in the heat. I would love to be with my boyfriend in Florida in a pool. Cool water. Bah! But, instead, I’m in Michigan in the freezing fall weather. Dumb!

She stepped out of the pool and reached for her towel, only to discover that it wasn’t where she had placed it. Looking around she called out, but there was no reply.

Looking at her reflection in the pool.
She was pretty, just so haggard, tired and drained.
It made her look beautifully fragile, so weak and troubled.
She couldn’t swim, and she fell in with a splash.
A group of peopleimmiediately came and pulled her out of the water. She was too weak to struggle, and collapsed in their arms.
It was so cold, so cold.

i feel as if im in a pool of sweat, not physically, but emotionally. constantly sticky, dripping. it renders me confused.
