    She blinked. “To Catch A Phrase?”

    I was puzzled a good long time before I spoke again.

    “Um, I think you skipped the conclusion a few turns ago.”

  14. Apparently the wrong turn of phrase set me off on the wrong foot. I understand you’re always in pain, but what you don’t realize is that you seem to suffer so much more than the average person over small things. Meanwhile yesterday was the day I missed the 15-year-old picture of a very young me in my father’s arms and you asked me nothing because you were too busy not fitting in.

  15. When a phrase becomes too crazy, little fish come from between the words and gobble it up. These fish are very perticular about what they eat when it comes to phrases. Some phrases taste like jelly while others just taste like veggie stew. Some are heartier than others, while others are just empty calories.

  16. hope. that is a phrase that is vital. hope that this is not all that there is. hope that beyond what we see, we are here for a greater good. it is a phrase that is all too often forgotten and left behind. hope is what makes us hold on, stay strong, and believe that we can make it through. that is what counts in the end.

  20. phrase is a shortened sentence that’s not a complete sentence. i feel like phrase is a sad ending because it hasn’t been completed. many people talk in phrases, and not in complete sentences, although that’s how students are expected to write. i feel like the phrase of my life would be happy although difficult; that’s how i’d like it to be, anyway.

  21. A phrase is what I am righting right now. There is a subject, a verb and other things you learn at school but I was to busy to draw in my notebooks that I couldn’t listen to the borring lessons of my teachers. Hopefully I’m a good student now even if I don’t really know what is in a phrase.

  22. I’m drawing a blank, I have not been able to come up with the perfect hook, or the right catch phrase. I need something to reel you in quick, I’m losing you like a body in quick sand. You need something to hold on to. So please hold onto me.

  23. Phrase is a strange word. It begins with a ph, which measures acidity, and ends with the suffix -ase, meaning it is probably an enzyme. the r in the middle is kind of random. This is an enzyme that has something to do with acidity.

  24. Something people can come up with in order to describe something, someone, and idea, a place, etc. Or this could be some cliche, meaningful saying that people often toss about. A phrase can be a complete or incomplete sentence.

  37. For some reason this makes me think of the old saying “it’s not what you say, but how you say it” which usually refers to someone’s tone or attitude but the way something is phrased can often be equally misleading and contradicting..
    And sometimes, that’s probably the point. Why be straight with someone when you can hide honesty behind a clever wording so you don’t have to deal with the truth head on, but can always say “but I TOLD you” later on when someone confronts you and put the misunderstanding off on them.

  38. catch phrase. to catch a phrase in a phase of life. the RIGHT phrase will work wonders, the wrong phrase will either float on by or like a floater in your eye it will annoy the fuck out of you. Rephrase. find a new way to say the same thing or say something entirely different. Praise the day for the phrases that put your busy mind at bay and give you the chance to dance a moment with yourself. Craze.

  39. i like the word phrase. it reminds me of a professor at a university. it reminds me of famous people who have famous quotes we use often. it can also be annoying, such as certain catch phrases are annoying.

    overall, i like the word phrase. set your phasers on go.

  40. I’m searching for a word to sum up how this is. Fruitless: does not describe my situation, only the search. I know, though it startles me, that what I need is more. A phrase perhaps, perfect in it’s muted locution.
