  2. my passport could have easily been the only thing i had with me. but it wasn’t. on my right shoulder i carried an old worn down red bag. there were no labels on it when i picked it up from that big old salvation army back in ninety-nine. and the bag wasn’t empty as it rested on my shoulder, either.

  3. My passport is missing, don’t know what I’ll do.

I guess I’ll just have to pass the port, or maybe just sue

Pass the port and drink it down

Don’t need a passport to go to town

A passport is necessary for travel as we know but the term itself is an obvious throwback to the time when the main method of travel was ship rather than air… One had to pass the port to get into the country. Now one has to bypass customs and metal detectors… Better make sure to pack clean underwear

    Also,

  17. I’d love to spend a summer abroad. Wake up and smell the roses of the non-American world. The beauty of Parisian streets or the antiquity of city’s older than my own beloved country. Who knows… Maybe I’d fall in love and that passport would evolve into a visa, a green card, what do they call them there?

  24. A passport can take you so many places. But if you don’t have one then you are seriously screwed. You’ll be stuck at an airport between a guy that smells like cheese and a woman who wants to tell you about everyone of her 26 1/2 grandchildren. Don’t worry, she has pictures. Cute huh?

    by Kamille on 04.16.2009

  33. She’d never been so sure of herself. Even so, she gripped the passport, shiny new and navy blue in its little plastic case, a little tighter as she approached the ticket counter. The man behind the counter had a fake plastic smile as she approached, and her sweaty grip on the case slipped a little. Even so, she smiled, a real smile, as she set her suitcase down by her feet.

  34. passport. i just got my passport for the first time. i go to ireland in a week and a half. part of me is terrified, part of me is elated. i’ve never been out of the country before. i’m sure it’s going to be fine; i’m going with a class from my college. my roommate is going with me. i just can’t sort out everything i’m thinking, everything i’m looking forward to, everything i’m concerned about.

  35. He forged the passport perfectly. Now he could go to the Italian opera and shoot her at the perfect moment — the climax of the piece. No one would hear, it would be done in silence. He could escape before anyone was the wiser.
