  1. The paperback writer, pullin’ and all nighter, rippin’ against the bowl is just makin’ this night tighter. So now I brake forth in a mysterious place, I lost my face, scared awake to resume with no trace. I seek heat off the beats in my soul, so now I roll. No longer to rock, I still quake and leave others in a shock -An awe from the crowd are any of them even listening to me now?

  4. i enjoy paperback books more because the wear and tear on the cover adds to the reading experience and makes it feel more yours. when it comes to an older book i feel it should look worn out and a paperback is my favorite way to make it look like that.

  5. Sometimes I wish things had worked out between my ex and me, but then the anger comes flooding in. So I choose to remember the better parts – and keep breathing. Just so it heals, and keeps me open to the new and old breeze we call love.

Making it feel used and loved and appreciated. What the hell am i talking about. I love to read, but really? Drama-rama about the love for a book? Okay, so I love the book, but us ut wrong? I love al of them. I am not Booknogamous at all. I can have more that one book a night. Right? RIGHT?

  16. Paperback books have a wonderful life of their own. Whether harlequin romance books, or editions that we all wait for so we don’t have to pay for a hardback book – they sit there on the shelf; small, pages creased, cover with wrinkles near the spine.

  17. I hate paperback books because they always get nasty looking on the spines. I prefer the feel of a nice hardback book. It lasts much longer than a paperback book. But I do like the paperback book price. Too bad you can’t get a hardback book for the same price. Oh well.

  20. I sometimes think my back is made of paper – it’s very sensitive and always pale. I imagine that if my back were really made of paper, holes could be poked in it very easily and that would hurt a lot. My friends think it’s very funny to poke me, but that’s just stupid. Having a paper back would make them regret poking holes in me and they would never do it again, would they?

  38. Cheesy romance novels my grandmother reads with a Fabio-esque man and typical woman. She does this amazing thing where she holds the book and turns the pages with the same hand (not the amazing part) The amazing part is that she does it after she falls asleep, still flipping through pages occasionally. It’s the damndest thing I’ve ever seen.
