We all have something overhead most of the time. We have our roofs for the most part for protecting ourselves from the scorching rays of sun and during the night we sleep within our house, with roof overhead again to protect us from the cold.
Overhead there were planes. I really like planes, I have good memories of going to airshows. They are always fun days. I went through a stage of wanting to be a pilot, but I always have silly ideas like that. I couldn’t be bothered spending another 5 years in school.
what the hell is ovherhead ? is it something on top a head ? like a hat ? a baseball cap ? or the introduction to a texte ? As there’s no context, I can’t guess, sorry
Overhead, the heavens cried, large fat tears, salty and pure. They casually fell onto my face, cool and soft, running from the bridge of my forehead down the side of my nose. They almost looked like tears, but from happiness when coupled with my brilliant smile.
Overhead, the stars shined, maliciously, almost taunting me with their purity and joy. I could only relate to the darkness that surrounded them. Their brightness had nothing to do with me. Nothing at all.
While trying to get his business off the ground, selling starships to kindergarteners in Belize, Jack O’Kaffee hit a snag. He was disappointed that his target market was not only unable to pay the down-payments, but couldn’t even secure loans. Flowers bloomed overhead, grew up to be sixty feet tall under a cuddling sun. Rainfall was common in these parts, but it never seemed to storm. It seemed almost an embracing mist, a nourishing fog that limited sight, but refreshed you like nothing else.
Wow really? Overhead? Like ceilings and fans and lights and clouds and the sun and the stars? Or like …. upkeep? The cost of keeping everything running? I really don’t like either one. I mean I like stars and the sky. But I just don’t like this word. I wish I had a different one.

The booming sound overhead resignated in our ears like bees swarming a hive. We looked up above us and saw the magificent air craft breaking up into peices in front of our very own bloodshot eyes.
Overhead I saw the clouds roll by like ships amongst the seas. I began to imagine the great sea battle of red beard fighting the birds off like they were the enemies and racing towards the sun.
overhead i see the stars, the dark sky and the night descending upon me. I lay here in the grass with her, thinking of what could be, if my hand were to creep over to hers and our fingers gently to touch. I wonder to myself if i should make an attempt, but by the time i do, she is gone.
Nothing overhead looked appetizing. Not the smoked duck or the dried salmon hanging from that waxy string. No, I could not even image eatiing anything that was suspended from the ceiling like that.
But surely I was in the minority, for the shoppers around me obviously were well past any fear of eating dusty duck. God how long can that thing hang there an still be considered food.
I was totally out of my league, gastronomically speaking. This was no where near what I expected. My image of the dried corn that my Grandad often had hanging on the back porch, after growing season, left me feeling a bit more sohpisticated than actually I am
there was a gigantic dear on my overhead of my car because i just hit and now what the fuck am i going to do, I decide to pull over and investigate but then the deer was gone! whered it go? it went into hyper space.
the screen projector, its glaring at me. hes standing behind it, his blue eyes twinkling as he teaches the subject he went to years of school for. i love him, and he is my teacher. i think deep down he loves me.
the fan above me feels like it’s going to fly loose anytime. It throws dust on my all day, randomly. I would like to paint it and make it tighter, and less scary
