Oerhead I thinkabout things th are over my head. The sky being one. Then I think of the vast number of stars and planets that are yet discovered. I wonder where the black hole is. Then I think about overhead projectoirs. Since I am going to e a teacher it would be nice to have one. Technology makes it easier thes edays.
higher up i see above me. the sky is always so enchanting, whether it’s cloudy, sunny, or there’s a thunderstorm. I find the sky so beautiful. overhead , there are a lot of things overhead, especially when you’re as short as me.
cabin. in a plane…white sails in the air. things i dont like to think about, at night it’s invisible. it’s not so real and so I fly then, when the night hides all things white and steel.
They never told me where the new lightbulbs are. I searched for hours, maybe days. If I had light, I could have seen. Maybe I could have found what I needed most.

Some catch and begin a short-lived carnival experience while others float to the ground like parachutists who are done for the day. “Cool,” I say, looking up at the fan overhead, with three pairs of printed underwear careening around the room. A big girls’ mobile.
She overheard me talking about her and that was the end. I can’t even remember what I said, what words I used, my tone of voice. I was riffing, like you do when someone’s listening to you and laughing.
When i was on a plane last month, I had an electric bass as one of my carry-ons and the individuals sitting around me couldn’t find it in their hearts to move their things in the overhead bin to accomodate my instrument. I was disappointed in mankind. Selfish bastards.

It even makes you sort of think of lookup up XD Which is kinda strange considering it’s only a word and we all know that it’s just a roof above our heads.
In the overhead compartment of the airplane there was a couple of toothbrushes and some shampoo bottles. But you weren’t really supposed to have shampoo bottles on an airplane unless they’re less that 3 oz.
Sally looked at the black sky looming before her. Her head was perched on a cold rock in the middle of Faber Field and as she stared up at the stars they seemed to twinkle out one by one until all she could see was darkness.
The sky overhead howled its siren song. Part azure infinity, party roiling darkness, it drew Paul upward as it had for decades. “Fine!” he said as he finished gassing up his small, twin-engine Cessna. “You want me, you got me.”
The orange painted skies overhead was slowly turning into blue, casting shadows upon shadows on the snow-laden ground. Skeleton-like branches waved in the wind, the chilly air sending goosebumps up her arms. But she didn’t notice it. She was transfixed on the sight before her. Her gaze locked on the small girl sitting on the bar, blood running down her swinging legs. The kid was smiling at her but her smile didn’t reach her eyes. Marks of teardrops stood out from her pale face.

i realize that this is now not going to be about anything except for the overhead compartment which promises to shift and terrorize you but, never happens. i am always disappointed by the failure of that compartment to hit me upside the head.

Through the very tops of my vision, I looked up at him. His eyes were shut, and part of me wished that he’s open them just as I had.
