  3. True that everything in life is optional.
    What options do we choose?
    And what do we discard?
Is one better than the other?
    Who decides –
Am i better than you or her?
    Who decides –
    Me or you?
    Who gives you the right?
    I am my own master.

  16. Optional. Why is it optional? Why should the option be given so callously? What if it shouldn’t be optional. Not all people should be given options, they’d just screw it up.

Do I think these things into reality? What if it DOES happen? Should I tell myself that it will all be okay, or will I be lying? It’s optional. The truth is.

  25. i don’t quite like things being optional. when you’re faced with decisions in life, you faf about and don’t get things done. I find that I only really learn things well when I’m forced to do them, as such, optionality is quite a liability. I suppose it is necessary in a way, quite ironic that optionality is a necessity.

If you have seen this phrase before – you know that something big is going on right now. If you havn’t seen it before, please read on. There is currently a internet vs. The Church of Scientology war being places right under our noses.

A hacker group named Anonymous is waging a war against the Church of Scientology. This is in the wake of the 10 minute Tom Cruise video being posted on youtube.

Here is the link if you want to watch it: Click Here

This video has been tried to be supressed via legal action by the Church of Scientology.

This isn’t the cause of the war, it was just the straw that broke the camel’s back.

In this recent press release by the group Anonymous, you will see what their real reason is after the war got mass media attention.

Here is the video from NBC4
Here is Anonymous’s rebuttle to that video correcting the mass media

    Dear News Organizations.

We have been watching your reporting of Anonymous’s Conflict with The Church of Scientology.

As you said. The so called, Church of Scientology, have actively misused copyright, and trademark law, in pursuit of its own agenda. They attempt, not only to subvert free speech, but to recklessly pervert justice to silence those who speak out against them.

We find it interesting that you did not mention the other objections in your news reporting.

The stifling and punishment of dissent. within the totalitarian organization of Scientology.

The numerous, alleged human rights violations. Such as the treatment and events that led to the deaths of victims of the cult such as Lisa McPherson.

This Cult is Nothing but a psychotically driven pyramid scheme.

Why are you. The news media. Afraid of discussing these matters? It is your duty to report on these matters. You are Failing in your Duty.

Their activities make them an affront to freedom.

Remember. All that is necessary. For the triumph of evil. Is that good men do nothing.

    This information is Everywhere.

It is your Duty to expose it.

    It is easy to find.

Google is your friend. This is not Religious Persecution. But the suppression of a powerful, criminal fascist regime.

It is left to Anonymous. The Church has been declared Fair Game. It will be dismantled and destroyed.

“When Anonymous, sees an evil fascist brainwashing organization. Anonymous knows, it has to help mankind. Because Anonymous knows that it is only Anonymous that can help.”

Members of the Church. Anonymous is not your enemy. The Church of Scientology is your enemy. The Church has enslaved you. Free Yourselves.

Change, does not roll in, on the wheels of inevitability. But comes through continuous struggle. Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor. It must be demanded by the oppressed.

    Take it. Demand it.

We are Anonymous. We are Legion. We do not Forgive. We do not Forget.

This is only the beginning. Expect us.

  30. well some events in your life are optional. Like going to college.
Others aren’t. Like falling in love
    or making a mistake
    or making friends
    or being mad at someone

all of things have to happen
for this to be considered a life.
if we didn’t experience these things
    it wouldn’t be living.

  34. The ultimate of all cop-out words. It is an optional thing to do, it was within his options. It could also show someone who has power, he has a lot of options at his disposal. But more than not, if it was me, and I was given something as an option, it would be my undoing. I am a very lazy person at heart and will not do something that is expected of me if it is optional and I have no interest in doing it. Some may say that they are like this as well, but “getting a better score” never interests me. It is in that regard, I suppose, that I differ from a lot of people.

    by Anonymous on 08.18.2009
  35. we all have options. every person has options no matter how far those options take them. Some times people believe god gives them options. some people believe we don’t have options. some people believe we give ourselves our own options. i believe we all just have options and can do what we want when we want. hooray!

    by AmandaS on 08.18.2009
  36. optional. you don’t have to do it. but most of the time when someone says that something is optional, they still want you to do it. they still expect you to do it. then they get mad if you don’t do it. you argue that it was optional. they say that you’ll never understand. why make things optional? either make it mandatory or don’t say anything at all.

    by erica on 08.18.2009
  37. this site is an adventure of sorts… i mean, its completely optional whether you want to write about the word you’re given or not, right? so i guess that the bottom line is that i want to write about the optional word i’m given instead of just not doing it. How conceptual… :/

    by MoonSeeker on 08.18.2009
  38. clothing is always optional. In my house we run around naked some days and other days we’re just too darn uncomfortable to do such a crazy thing. I never know if I should leave the windows open ’cause even though it’s hard to see in during the day my skin is so white! Maybe people would see me in the buff or maybe they’d think they’d seen a ghost! I’d definitely do a double take if it were me on the other side of the glass.

    by Stephanie on 08.18.2009
  39. Optional doesn’t always mean optional. So many times in my life optional has meant mandatory. It is only stated as optional because one has a legal obligation to follow certain rules. I destroyed myself for optional. I hate optional. Optional is bull.

    by Brittany on 08.18.2009
  40. The pie, I believe, is optional. They said to bring a dessert but they didn’t say what. A pie is traditional, I guess, but not essential. I don’t see why it couldn’t be something else. A flan perhaps, or a lamington. I think I’ll go with a pavlova
