  7. When I think about this word, I see flowers, I feel my heart opening, I think of a puja or altar table where I am lovingly placing any item with the intention of surrendering and glorifying Source. 20. An offer can be distinguished from an invitation to treat. When an offer is made and then accepted, the corresponding agreement is binding. An invitation to treat cannot be accepted – but an offer can be made on its terms.

  21. i would like to be offered some help
everything is too stressful, i am always offering other people help but when it comes to me, it seems as though the effort is too great

this is when i’ll stir my limbs back to life.

  24. “I’ll make him an offer he can’t refuse.” she told me. I was less than convinced. But she did have the amazing ability to make me believe anything she said, and I was willing to go with that. Her soft auburn curls fell over her bright brown eyes as she gave me a little wink.

“Whatever you say.” I told her.

  30. The offer was too good to refuse. Three for the price of one! Never mind that she couldn’t use it, she would find a way. After all, a bargain is a bargain and somehow, she’d make it work. Already, she had some ideas in mind. Perhaps as curtains in the sunroom, or pillow covers.

  31. Someday, I will receive an offer for all my dreams and all my hopes and all my fantasies. But my indecision will render me speechless and I’ll toil over this decision for days, though the answer is obvious.

  36. I have an offer you can’t refuse.

That’s what all the TV ads tell me, and seconds later I am changing the channel. Seems that I can refuse them with ease. Why do they all say that when they know how out dated it sounds? I can’t stand cliches at all. They make me so sick and just bored.

  38. I had the offer of my life. Sadly, I couldn’t take it. It’s really hard to make decisions based on love, but my heart won over my logic. To this day, I regret it every time I think about it. My life could have been so much different, but I chose to marry and have kids and I must live with the consequences. I cannot help but wonder where I would be though.
