  1. Mythology and myths have plagued the greek culture along with Roman history. Once I was told a myth of if someone eats a black water mellon seed that a watermellon would grow in ones stomach. I was frightened by this aspect and during the time in which I was in kindergarten I felt afraid that I would be a child with a watermellon growing within me.

  10. I love old stories and especially the type of story called the myth. It gives an entertaining view of how some people used to view the world. The characters are not real but have real human traits and the stories themselves can be used to teach life lessons about what we should and shouldn’t do.

  13. I can’t think of anything to write about myths. Myth is a funny word, kind of like “lagoon” – if you say it enough times, over and over and over, it gets funnier and funnier. Myth, myth, myth. Is there a difference between myth and legend? Is myth more fantastical, whereas legend is kind of like a story that’s been passed down.

  28. Myth: we all write and live one everyday. We are all heroes. I want to have a myth where everything turns out just right. Don’t we all? What if I stopped insisting on my opinions of “turns out right” being better than his or hers or yours?

What if I decided and chose that however they turn out, with me passionately pursuing love (as in universal, agape sort of love not only romance) and using that as the force to guide the way?

  29. I think that love is a myth. I think it could be true, if I believed in fairy tales. But I don’t. I wonder who created this myth? Why is love such a big deal if we constantly fall in and out of it?

  30. God is a myth. He is a delusion that our mind creates so that we may feel more comfortable about our purpose in life. But if you haven’t noticed people are still lost. Why you ask? cuz GOD isn’t the answer its the faith in something that we need. So i guess the only way to be satisfied with ourselves is when we start having faith in ourselves.

Sure she liked having the clothes, loved having the clothes, but she thought shopping for clothes, shoes, jewellery, anything was the biggest waste of time. When she met Jeremy and he loved shopping, she thought all her dreams had come true – a straight best friend who would go shopping for her.
