  1. We were out on the town one night when we noticed that there was a mystery to be solved. It all began back in the twentieth century when the fools who thought they had a mystery on their hands actually had something they really didn’t know they were going to do with. Out of the shallow dark they came, holding a mystery of their own, with their backs to the wall with nothing to do.

  3. Mystery is one of those things that is intrinsic to human beings. They love mystery. Be it a trashy novel or the meaning of life, it’s what drives people to be people. Without mystery then the world would be a much different place. Imagine if everything was known? What would be the point of living? True, it would solve a lot of problems, but it would make life a lot more boring too.

Maybe for the thrill, maybe one time, maybe you dream about it…but you can’t really love it. Because you don’t know what it is.

  14. The biggest mystery for me is why and how people can be so blind to the events and transgressions around them. How is it that individuals can be so simple and apathetic merely content to drift along having the lives decided for them by corrupt and immoral leaders? It is a mystery because at the end of the day I am as complacent and useless. At what point are we taught not to take matters into our own hands? To be a master of your own destiny… something only few people ever truly discover. Why?

  20. When I was a child, I loved short story mystery books. As I got older, they didn’t interest me anymore.

My husband’s daughter, whom is now 10, enjoys the same sort of mystery/horror short stories, but I am watching her grow out of it. I think during middle school age, social life really starts kicking in and crushes on boys, personal style and friends become more time consuming.
