  1. I only have one minute to think about this word. How many minutes have I wasted on stumble upon? On fb? On email? Oh to have that time back! I should be doing my washing. Cleaning my room. Cleaning the house. How much more productive I could be! I need to use my time more wisely…

  2. So I have to write about a minute. What is a minute. I guess it’s a period of time, but what is it actually. It’s comprised of seconds and comprises an hour. It can change someone’s life and be boring as hell. Minute minute minute. Or maybe I’m supposed to write about minute, as in small. Have I been writing about the wrong thing this whole time. There’s no more time to fix this!

    By Ashley on 06.22.2012

  3. Let me stop and think a minute about what I want to write. How many minutes does it take to come up with a truly awesome idea? I don’t know. I’ve never counted. I don’t know how awesome my ideas are anyway. Ideas look good at first, and then you come back to them and cry a little.

  4. Well this can mean many things. 60 seconds, 1/60th of a minute, some huge percentage of a day. A minute can bear many meanings.

  5. One minute. It has the power to change your entire life. One minute is all it took to turn my world upside down, forever changing my life. That one minute haunts me every single day and not a moment goes by that I dont wish I could somehow reverse time back to that horrid night.

  6. One minute. One minute that would change her life. She looked to her stomach, small and toned countless workouts and botched temptations from chocolate cake. Would it all be for naught? Would she be having a baby?

    By Kaila on 06.22.2012

  7. Minute, it’s like that one minute. What if you only had one minute to tell somebody how you felt about them. What if it was that one person who you needed. What if in one minute you had to explain to somebody that they were the one you were in love with, the only thing that completed you? How would you spend that one minute? What would you say?
I can’t say i’d even take that chance anymore, I have no idea how I would even start.
Maybe I could say “Hey. I’m going to explode in about a minute, so before I litter you with brain matter, let me tell you how much of it surges for you.”
I don’t know if i’d have the courage, I might just smile and make idle talk about how glad I was that we were friends, and how sorry I was that I was going to make a mess.

  8. Protists are tiny. They are, in fact, minute. The clocktower at the University of Auckland is made out of limestone, containing many fossilized protists called Forams (in the Foraminifera). As a clocktower, it also tells you the minute. Cool huh.

  21. “Hey, Samantha?”

    “Give me a minute, Mom.”

    “Samantha – ”

    “Just a minute!”

But she only moved closer to her daughter. Her cellphone dangled limply from her left hand, a foreboding chunk of black impending doom.

    “It’s your brother, Samantha.”

Samantha didn’t look up from her computer.

    “He’s in the hospital.”

  24. A minute is a unit of measurement of time or of angle. The minute is a unit of time equal to 1/60 of an hour or 60 seconds. In the UTC time scale, a minute on rare occasions has 59 or 61 seconds; see leap second. The minute is not an SI unit; however, it is accepted for use with SI units. The SI symbol for minute or minutes is min (for time measurement) or the prime symbol after a number, e.g. 5′ (for angle measurement, even if it is informally used for time).

  37. How ironic. Minute. As I sit and ponder what I should write about the word minute with only one minute to put down something interesting, I wonder why the hell I’m going the way I am. This is the worst entry I’m ever going to write and I know it. Sometimes the worst needs to happen so the better ones can come. Here’s to a better tomorrow. Cheers!
