  1. I thought I knew what friendship meant. Maybe I’m wrong. I’m starting to learn that things are not always as I’d thought them to be. I’m confused. Who is right and who is wrong? And have I been the good friend I thought I’ve been. Probably not. And do I deserve and hurt I might receive from a friends? Maybe so. Some people believe you shouldn’t make promises. I believe that sometimes it’s ok to make promises. Is it or is it not? I have many things to learn but am no as open as maybe I should be. I’m not ready to be taught. And not sure if I’m ready to trust is the knowledge of what true friendship is.

It’s surprising, really, when you think about it, because it had seemed to important at first – that meaning – because it was something to chase. The taste was what does us in, really. That first hint at rapture and then it’s gone.
