I meant to do the things on my TO DO LIST … but somehow never found the time … or got enough momentum going to get inspired. Oh, well, there’s always tomorrow! Right?
By Doris on 01.05.2009
if that is all it concerns you by that you didn’t want to explain the reason behind the word that you said but did not want to let me know how it was for you or then for me it was somehow unfair that I did not understand when you had not explained

For the longest time he didn’t know what Jared meant to him, but he eventually came to know exactly what he meant to him.
The world, that’s what Jared meant to him. Jared was his entire world, and nothing else mattered. Not the show, his career, or the fans. All of it he could live without. But Jared, he couldn’t even fathom living without him.
Jared meant EVERYTHING to him.

What does this mean, really? Are we meant for one other person, is there some speciall calling each of us is meant to do?
I’m skeptical. Meant, to me, implies lack of choice.
By Kylie on 01.05.2009
Is that meant to be it? Seriously, you cant expect me to write anything about that. Its nutty, bonkers, barmy, completley insane. I mean just thinking about the concept makes you a bit weirder.
I dont know, what do you think Jose? Whats that? Ducks?
By Matt Day on 01.05.2009
I meant to tell you a lot of things. I meant to say a lot of things. There were so many things I had to tell you. I wanted to tell you that I loved you. I wanted to tell you that I wanted to see you every day for the rest of my life. I meant to tell you that being my friend was not enough. I meant to tell you how much you matter to me. I meant to tell you that every second we spend apart I spend thinking of you. I meant to tell you that my friends are getting sick of hearing about you from me. Because you’re all I talk about. Because you’re all I think about. I meant to tell you that you broke my heart. I meant to tell you that you do it every day. Every time you think we’re close enough friends for you to tell me all your secrets that I just… don’t want to hear. I don’t want to.
By Sam on 01.05.2009
I hadn’t meant to do it. I wasn’t sure what came over me. It was like a weird compulsion and that it was ‘meant’ to be. Looking back it all seems so stupid but it still haunts me.
I will never know why I decided to buy that lime green shell suit.

you have no idea what what you did meant to me. i was so happy that day when you made my pet pig fly. imagine, pink pork in the sky! away from its sty! my oh my!

It meant so much and so little. It was good, bad, and everything in between. Yet it meant nothing in the end. In the end the little things are the things that really end up making the difference. They end up really meaning things when the scales are balanced. The big things, they mean something at the time, but in the long run even the biggest can be balanced out by the little things that really mean something.
By Cassidy on 01.05.2009
I’ve already written for this word. God damnit. I meant to write something new.
By WL on 01.05.2009
I meant to tell her exactly what she meant to me but I got lost. Lost in thoughts and dreams and longing. I held the moment like a bubble in my hand, desperate that nothing should change but certain that however hard I tried, it was eventually going to burst.
By Mark Clarke on 01.05.2009
What I meant to say was that I really miss you.
I cant explain how this should be, or why I didnt just say it right off.
What I meant to say was that without you my life is empty, cold, barren.
What you meant to me
By nicholas on 01.05.2009
I don’t know what it meant. I thought it meant something special. I thought it meant we were meant to be together. I thought it meant that it was love.
I didn’t know what it meant after all.
Meaning was lost. Did it have meaning in the first place? Wasn’t meaning something I gave to it myself? It wasn’t what it meant to him. Obviously.
By Barbara Satow on 01.05.2009
When I think of the meant I think of like what I wanted to say but I said it differently so I have to go what I meant was or if I say something and somebody does not I understand I go that meant

a part of an apology, a word that a person would referr to when explaining something.a word someone would use to try to explain themselves for a misunderstanding while speaking.
By fattam on 01.05.2009
well, i guess this reminds me of being betrayed, because you can’t always know the meaning behind what some one says, you can only read the actions and the fallout. You ask something, they answer and you think,”oh good, i understand”, but sometmes it’s not what you thought, but something else entirely.
By Trouble on 01.05.2009
meant is when you want to mean in saying something… to emphasis it… like, “I meant to tell you that your fly is open when I was doing those hand signals dolt!” Yea… something like that.
By Jay on 01.05.2009
I meant what I said, but sometimes it doesn’t seem to make any difference to anyone but myself. I don’t think it makes me a bad person, just someone whose words are generally forgotten…why is this? Could it be because I typically rant and rave about many things? Does nobody take me seriously anymore? I don’t know, but I really meant what I said
By sarah on 01.05.2009
It wasn’t what she had meant. SHe had said, screamed it even, but never had she, would she ever mean it. She hated him so much of the time, but for the those moments when he was himself, she had never been so in love with anyone.
By sydni on 01.05.2009
i meant to say i love you
i meant to say you have changed my world
i meant to say that i can’t imagine being with anyone else
i meant to say that i can’t imagine you with anyone else
i meant to say i need you
i meant to say… we are meant to be.

I meant to give chelsea my cookie, but i ate it on accident. uhmm… i dont know what else to say. i meant to tell chelsea that i eated the cookie, but i forgot. chelsea must be mad not.

What is meant when the word meant is mentioned is rarely what was meant to begin with.

what am i meant to do now?
By soulbrush on 01.05.2009
i am trying to write about the word meant without thinking about it, but how do you write without thinking. I meant to do this today. I meant something different than what I said. I meant to make sure that everyone was happy. Meant is mean with a t. I dont like the word meant–it doesnt flow right off of your tongue.
By Vickie on 01.05.2009
You meant something to me, but maybe you didn’t. How do we really know if something had meaning. Probably because of residual emotions and bullshit like that. The meaning of life? My life never meant anything. I was a body floating among others with no goals or aspirations. So please tell me, what did all of this mean? I don’t know, I haven’t found anyone who knows, so please, tell ,e.

I meant to say more
But the words were stuck
Caught in the back of my throat
With no way to come forth
I felt myself choking
Numbness and fear setting in
I meant to say more
But the words weren’t there
By LynnArts (Jen M) on 01.05.2009
It wasn’t what she meant to say, and that right there was the whole problem, really. She’d spoken without meaning to, said what she felt instead of what she thought; “You should be with me not him” instead of “he’s just a loser” and now came the awkward stares and the excuses not to see each other.
Except what came was a kiss, and she thought that maybe, she’d finally done what she meant to all along.

i’m meant to be revsing but i really cant be bothered
i meant to say sorry for hurting my brother
By Liah on 01.05.2009
say what you mean and mean what you say.
if you meant something it means you put the truth in your words and you really believe what you said.
meant… meant… it’s kida like truth, and belief and the opposit of rumor and gossip because it is true! usually.
like when you say i love you, and you mean it, it means you DO really lik the persona dn that there isn’t anyone else, at the moment, you would rather be with
By Melissa on 01.05.2009
I really meant to tell you that I wasn’t attending school this next semester, but I just didn’t have the heart. You looked so excited when I mentioned that we’d finally be together and my face froze in place at the exact moment that you smiled and drove away. I can’t believe I’ve done this to you. Please don’t hate me forever.
By Kyle on 01.05.2009
What did it meen to you
The kiss that launched a thousand ships
That set my lips in fire
And sent my heart beating like a cherokee drum
It meant the world to me
By k on 01.05.2009
I meant what I said. I can’t stand the way you leave the toilet seat up. WE’RE OVER. I hope you treat the next girl better.
By tess on 01.05.2009
Misunderstandings rule bad sitcoms, but also our lives. Often a misplaced word, or just a word left out can mean the difference between promotion and hitting your career peak too early. But mostly it can mean the difference between happiness and lost love.
