  2. I remeber that awful day when I woke up to a baby who wasnt breathing any more…CPR was not helpful, running around frantic trying yto figure out how and what was next to come. Calling the police… took forever for them to come they take over the rescure …medavac to another city . two long weeks in a horribe yet wonderful place only to leave there still empty handed. How can life be so very cruel?

  4. He looked at his stock market statement month after month and saw nothing but loss.

What’s the point in saving for retirement when I lose money every month. This profit and loss statement might as well be a suicide note.

Faced with the loss of his future income, he realized he could never retire. Ever

  18. go down to a low place with no hope to recover. Empty feeling deep inside which is hard to fill up again seems only time will fill the void to a point of being filled up again. wow time can cure a lot of thingsd if the focuss is in the right place and recovery is the object of winning again to a place of happiness.

  19. Ah, what a loss I’ve come across. Loss is a very negative word, when you really think about it. It’s no good in sports, it’s not good in everyday life( i.e. : Oh no, I’ve lost my phone!), it’s not very good in general.

  20. Loss. When I lost my dad. When I lost my 2 dogs. When I lost my home. When I lost my love. When I lost my friendship. When I lost my trust on someone.

  21. Loss is a word I am very familiar with it. It is something I have faced time and time again. I do not like loss, it takes and does not give. Loss is the hole in your chest that feels like pain but isn’t. Loss is the knowledge that no matter what you do you will not get what you are seeking. Loss tears you apart from the inside out, gradually taking everything that ever meant anything.

  22. Losign someone is usually very painful. Many people get into huge trouble when someone they are close to is gone. However, loss does not always have to be that tragical – people tend to lose things on many occasions. Losing important stuff such as a key can be really painful though.

  25. i think that friends should never go away forever, but i feel like this is a common topic in a conversation. it’s like anyone anybody’s ever been close to is starting to turn, against you and towards something that they cannot compete with. i don’t want to give you up, but then again, i can’t gain control of you.

    by on 02.03.2010
  27. When you lose something, there’s the void. And you always try to force something in that void to fill it up again but we never learn that what you lost is what you need to fill it up again. But then, maybe it was lost for a reason.

  28. Grievance is a hard thing, it burns in your soul and then slowly but surely eats you from the inside out. The only way to heal is to forget, but it takes time to forget and that time can be the hardest you could ever know. But even as hard as it may be, you can get over it, and even after the loss of a loved one, you will get better.

  36. There was just one moment that I can remember as a child feeling a sense of loss for the first time. I had this little kitten I had gotten for my birthday and she was so sweet. As the kitten grew older, all she wanted to do was go outside. One day, she left and never came back. I was heartbroken trying to figure out how something I loved so much could just leave me.
