Gong! Those things you hit that make a big crashing cymbal noise. Pretty awesome stuff. I remember there was a gong in the jazz room in high school. At least I think there was.
Gong. Crash. Bang. The sound of catastrophe and yet love ringing ever loudly. PLAY THOSE GONGS. Sing terror. Sing happiness. Hear peace. The end and the high point.
When the gong rings, I run for supper; to the big round table with deep notches. Maybe it’ll be a hamburger, freshly cooked by Aunt Sue. Or maybe it’ll be a bowl of rice, sticky and salty. The possibilities are endless; my mouth waters.

My first memory with a gong is from my elementary school music room. There was a gong on top of the piano. It felt sacred and no one wanted to touch it because it gave off such a loud noise, but everyone wanted to make the noise because it was so other-worldly.
I never knew what love was until I met you, now I realise it is the only thing that matters in this world. If I could leave one thing behind it would be that people could feel my love.

when i was younger i used to love to watch mtv. oh my goodness I watched it so much. I also loved hanson. So, when hanson, went on mtv for this show, say what karaoke, i HAD to watch it. So i tuned in, and they would judge people’s karaoke performances. If you were bad, you got “gonged.”
The gong at the Asian restaurant was very loud. It brought me to a time i visited japan and met the culture. How does that gong personify that group of people? How amazing the power of one crash.
I think of a giant bell which reminds me of bells in japan. And when I think of Japan I think of their animes and their ideas of romance. Which does excite the average American in my opinion.
