  15. its never wet and its always there, lurking, just where you dont want it. Dry mouth when you wake up, dry skin when you’re going out. Hair dryers are just annoyingly loud when you can just use a towel. I like the deciciveness of the word DRY. SMASH.

    thirsty.
    My bosses firend’s husband died in the desert because he had no water. DRY that is horribly dry.

  17. the desert is dry. it really is. except when it rains. and i think i remember reading about when it rains in the desert. when it rains, it pours. and it gets really cold at night. i don’t exactly know why, but it does. i think it has something to do with it being really dry and nothing being there to hold the heat in… anyway…

  21. my mouth when i play my trumpet. god. its always dry! my jury just passed, and i wasn’t all that nervous, but then right before i went in i was, and my mouth got dry. dammit. that always happens. i sometimes wonder if i really should keep playing trumpet, because surely a trumpet performance major shouldn’t have this big of a problem playing in front of people. but i do.

  28. the shirts have to be dry, drying is most doing for a machine that is called a DRYER and is very important in a family home because it can dry many clothes in one night, specially when you have to go to school the next day it can be very usefull xD

  34. deserts are normally dry. They’re kinda silly like that, no water and all. The opposite of what you’d expect from a lifetime of coastal living. I guess thats why I’ve never travelled abroad to wonderful places with delightful deserts, they’re unnatural and strange to me. Water is good. Water. Water. Water drops. This writing is dry. I’ve been given 60 seconds to write about dry. The only thing dry is my fountain of inspiration.

  35. I have been in the dry desert. It was beautiful as we rode along on the ship — I saw things I have never seen before, and I may never see again. Every trip like that is similar in a sense because it changes my life in some way. My life was changed by the dry desert.

  38. dry is the oppisite of wet. things that are dry cannot be described on such manner in any other way, except for “not wet,” which does not count. The element of dryness often goes unstated in descriptions, but it is rather important. Dry is often ended by water.

  40. hot, desert, walking across the sand where you cant see because the heat is rising up in rippling waves of pain and vibrancy. there is little to drink when you are stuck in the desert or in target or walmart for that matter. to have a dry mouth its a lot like being lost. you are distracted, troubled and unable to think.
