  5. “That dress was way too short. Like seriously, what were you thinking? Way too much leg showing, girl, you know your best asset isn’t your legs, seriously! Think about the rest of the world before putting something like that on, every again.”

And you wonder why my self esteem is so low.

  6. the dress was red. The woman who wore it did so lightly, laughingly, at the funeral, where it was so inappropriate. But what did she care? She was beyond all feeling now. She lost any sense of inappropriateness after having been left at the alter, by the man who was being buried here after falling on the sidewalk while carrying a pizza pie in his bare hands. Oh, well, Justice was done, I suppose. But at least she met a new friend at the funeral. He works as a custodian, scraping old pizza off the sidewalk. Is there room for advancement? Why, yes. After three years on the job, they give him a scraper.

  12. It wasn’t a sexual thing, more of a I-Can’t-Look-Away-In-Wonderment kind of thing. She wasn’t gorgeous, but she was fetching in a classic way. I had been peering into her window from mine for some time now, and the only time a sexual thought had come into my mind, was if I was running through a conversation in my head reassuring someone it wasn’t a sexual thing.
Watching her dress and undress was more kind of a hobby of mine.

  15. When she fell it was with much grace, some what like a butterfly or maybe a feather in the air. But there she was just floating freely in the air. Nothing to worry about not a worry in the world.

  16. It’s already weird enough wearing a dress. So please stop commenting on how pale I am. It’s annoying and I really don’t want to hear it. I’m sorry I can’t be a cute little tan blonde, your just going to have to put up with a pale blonde awkward teen. Besides being tan doesn’t make you pretty.

  17. I love to wear a dress. It is very suitable for all occassions & it can be dressed up or down depending on the occassion. Dresses can be long or short or indeed very short. You can have one in every colour. You can pay as much or as little as you wish.

  23. That Dress, that silly dress, Dorothy said I would always have the dress and never believe again in the dream. The dream that always comes along with a dress like that. Red, elegant, and hopelessly romantic just like my self at the time I occupied it.

  24. Dress code. Society has been more than tight establishing that thing called a dress CODE. It’s true, we’ve entered the machine era, but that doesn’t mean we have to look like one.

  27. I thought about the blue dress, for just a bare moment, before tossing it aside. Then I paused, considering the salmon pink one with the braided trim, but it didn’t suit either. Now the long, elegant, green dress – midnight green, they call it, so dark it’s almost black – the flowing one with a low, deeply split back, brooding and sophisticated, and somehow right, heavy and slick and whispering cunning rumors as it slid between my fingertips.
