  1. deer can be stupid sometimes, especially when they run out into the road and look in your headlights like “duhhhh?”
But it does sometimes scare me when I see those deer crossing signs and I think “What if I ran into a deer and died?”
    But that has never happened.

  2. Deer are really cute. I like deer. The males have really big horns where as the females do not and young deer do not get their horns until later in their life. Little deer are cute when they have tiny horns. Some people hunt deer and I don’t like that. If you are going to hunt at least use all of the animal like the native americans. Anyways. I like Bambi.

  3. The deer in the headlights look, that’s all she got when she asked about it. She knew the other girl wouldn’t say anything, she was too shy, reminding her of a small fawn as it walked about alone for the first time. “Oh dear…” she thought, trying to make the situation a little less awkward but failing miserably.

  4. Deer meat is widely available in Singapore, and considered quite an ordinary culinary treat. I can’t say I’m a big fan of it. They also eat everything from crocodile meat to BBQ Stingray. Now that’s something I would definitely recommend.

  5. an animal that was the main character in the movie Bambi. I see the deer frolicking in the forest along with all the other deer. They are cute brown and fuzzy. I would love to see one in person without any cages or bars around them.

  7. Deer is the part of my name that was given to me in the medicine. It is apart of who I am. Well, it’s not really apart of my name but it was part of the vision that gave me my name so it is indirectly apart of my name even if no one knows about it. Why does no one know? Cause no one asks. Cause no one cares enough to bother figuring out more about who I am, other then what is clearly visible.

  8. in headlights.
    leaping, prancing, frolicking.
    hurriedly darting, eyes aglow.
    fragile.
    daring.
    fully illuminated, at last.

  18. There is a deer that runs up in the mountains. It is not scared whether there are predators around or other animals that might be a threat to it. This deer is free spirited. It takes care of itself and follows whatever it’s heart desires. The deer walks through the forests without having the fear of thinking where it will go.

  19. deer frolic in forests made of pixie dusts, where ghost roam free and humans die wandering. people fear those angles with antlers as they fear death. die lonely, or die free. the choice lies with the deer in the woods. the woods which lie close.

  20. the deer ran through the forest and hit a tree. as it looked up it noticed the stairs that were left by the ancestors before it. it climbed as fast as it could to outrun its foe. it reached the top and stopped. it didn’t know what to do at all. there was nowhere to go, the deer was stuck. the deer was lost. forever alone atop the tree with the world after it.

  21. they are so cute and ilove them and i dont understand how anyone can hurt them and they have fun friends and are in movies and i want a pet deer and i love them and they are peaceful and they gallop which is cool and they have really cute white tails. they seem really gentle and it bothers me alot when people hang them up and showcase them as dead because they are too peaceful to hurt.

  22. Once i saw a deer crossing the road. The look it gave me was of such fear. Fear of life and Death. Fear and wanting. It reminded me of the look that my little sister gives me in the middle of a soccer game and wants to do better. Or that same look that the forgein exchange student gives me in the hallways when he doesn’t understand what the other kids are saying.

  23. Deer in the headlights.
This is the look I get when I teach the kids at my high school to do what it is I did for 4 years: march and play. They just stare vacantly and I wonder how it is they are ever going to put a show together. Then, I wonder if I looked that empty, and feel bad for the people who taught me!

  24. I sa a deer in the woods today. it looked at me with its big doe eyes and kept running. I wondered where it was going. It disappeared through the trees and I thought I saw a faun with it. They galloped away and I saw nothing more.

  25. I saw a deer one afternoon prancing across a golf course where I was staying. The next day at the same time I saw the same deer (I think it was the same deer) at the same time. The next day after that…again. It’s clear that this deer has a routine and that so did I.

  26. A peaceful, natural creature, too often taken for granted. I go hunting with my dad just to revel in nature and hope to see one secretly, so as not draw attention from his sights. Luckily they never show themselves. Otherwise I would feel like I were in the movie Bambi. Sad.

  27. A deer running through the forest, a pure animal with speed and agility. Sometimes I wish I could be a deer because they seem slim and fearless, two things I am decidedly not. This summer, I saw plenty of deer.

  30. Deer.
What gets in your way of getting to your destination. Like an obstacle that you have to go around to get your your goal. And sometimes, it steers you off to the edge, making you late or never getting to your goal.

  31. When it rains, I hope that I don’t lose control of my car and run into any deer. That would be tragic and possible fatal. I like animals, especially deer. They’re cute. ANIMALS.

  32. A beautiful animal with brown fur and the most amazing sensitive eyes. These animals are gentle, swift, sure-footed, and very aware of their surroundings. They seem like spirits in the forest, vanishing at the first sign of a threat.

  33. So I walked past a forest today. Saw a deer standing on the side, eating something, or smelling, I don’t know. I walked up to it and tried to stroke it but it got startled and ran away. God damn, I wish I was more friendly looking, that deer was really cute. But then again, I guess they can be dangerous too.

  34. Rain hits the leaves and slowly creeps off the tip; dripping into a puddle of mud. The puddle not only holds the rain but it ends up becoming a path. Not just one puddle, but many. Small, evenly spaced out holes of beauty. They are not there without reason. You know that following these little puddles could lead you to the very creature that created them. When that creature is in eyesight, your breathe will be taken away. There is a great mystery when it comes to Gods work, but why question it when we can be absorbed into it. Sit into the very mud that lead you to view this beauty and appreciated it for what it is.

  35. Walking in the forest, i saw a deer. You would think it would run away, as though it were standing in headlight reveries, but it just stared. I realized that this was because it was home, and it was comfortable. I was home.

  36. Fawn, a beautiful animal peaceful and serene. It takes precision to capture such a creature on film. Those calm eyes and face. It seems all knowing. Omnipotent. Wiser than ages.

  40. deers are very beautiful animals that have done so much for humanity in the the only form that they know how. they simply exist. they have provided food, shelter, clothes, and a lively hood for our ancestors and thus leading to us. I don’t know how the world would look without them. if they never existed then chances are neither would i. Thank you oh precious deer, how i cherish thee.
