  3. cupcakes are delicious. i wish i could eat them all the time. ironic, i was just reading icing, which is like, 100% cupcake stuff. i really want a cupcake right now, actually. they’re so delicate, and i love how the icing could be any flavor at all. it’s like an angel in sugary delicious form. the icing’s supersweet and soft, and it’s perfectly swirled. if you touch it at all, it crumbles.

    by angie. on 01.01.1970
  4. moist, soft delicious little cathedrals of baking, spread with a blanket of icing that generate a thousand impulses, all beckoning the mouth and lips for bite after bite after bite

    by maah on 01.01.1970
  5. She was such a cupcake. Sugary but a little burnt on the outside. She even had sprinkles and came in a paper cup if you can imagine that. She had frosty hair. I love cupcakes.

  6. cupcake sweet like honey. let me lick your frosting. run my tongue around your edges. eat the cake first. save the cup. i always did like to save your sweetness til last. time runs out. you were never big enough. i was always going to finish before you.

  7. The cupcake was laced with poison, and none knew it. The sinister baker placed it among many other cupcakes sprinkled with happiness and joy. The unsuspecting child buying from the bakery would feel the most horrible pain and drop instantly to the floor.

    by Superman on 01.01.1970
  8. The last time the cupcakes tasted of blueberry was when the elf child came home from London. Each and every Sunday she would digest the morning news and proceed to bake her cupcakes to perfection. The last time everything was all wrong. Blueberry Cupcakes are not well with the comics.

  10. Oh Cupcake, my darling, how i miss you so. I need your frosting head and ruffled bottom. I love you for your top more than your bottom.
Thats alright though, because at least im not trying to get into your wrapper.

  11. If only there were a sack of them, a sack filled with delicious little bites of happiness. If only I had that sack, and if only there were no other sacks like it in the world. I would be rich. Rich like an oil baron, like a sultan of old. Then they’d be sorry. Then they’d ALL be sorry. Remember when you pantsed me in gym, Timmy? Well to hell with you now! AHAHAHA

  12. oh cupcake, he called
    cupcake, my sweet sugared treat
    covered with icing-
    well he didn’t say that,
but that is what he meant
all I am is food to him
a pretty something to look at
    admire, improve with finishing touches
until it is my turn to be devoured…
there can be no other fate
or else I will simply rot away.

  13. I saw them there at the bar, out of place among the ambers and lagers. I wanted one. They called to me. Throughout dinner they teased me with their pinkness. But sadly, alas…..they were not for sale.

  18. I don’t see the point in looking at this thing anymore. It’s sprinkles and candy-white frosting stare back at me like some artificial demon from space. The whole point of a cupcake is to not have cake, isn’t it? If we can avoid the big cake can’t we avoid the whole thing altogether?

  19. what often tastes
    the sweetest
    leaves the worst
    in its wake

    calories exchanged
    looking for the
    panacea
    we indulge in the
    saccharine-sweet
    pleasures

    while being left
    destitute
    afterward
    crash and fall
    left with nothing
    to show for it.

  21. Cupcakes are often delicious however people can really screw them up. Take for instance the ones made with apple sauce .. ok what is the deal with that? I mean if you’ve never done it before then DONT try this at home kids. If you don’t know what you’re doing this is bound to turn out poorly and then everyone will hate you for making nasty cupcakes. I mean c’mon now, cupcakes SHOULD be delicious, not destroyed.

    by CynicalFem on 01.01.1970
  22. Cupcakes….I always picture them as white cakes with pink frosting…I never did get the big fuss over them. Give me my muffins any day. Or, if you’re determined to have your frosting, why not just make a cake? It feels like you’re cheating, almost…Another case where form beats out function, I guess. Ah well, we’ll keep fighting…

  23. They’re sweet and remind me of Spring, tea in the backyard with my Mom and the rest of my sisters. All those beautiful pastel dresses, just like the custard cream on top of the cupcakes. Just like flowers.

    by Joana on 01.01.1970
  24. The cupcake was brown and overcooked, but Daddy didn’t care. He ate it anyway, and with such delight in his eyes. I was four years old, and it was his birthday cake.

  27. My friend’s birthday was just around the corner, and I was in charge of the cake. But hey, my friend isn’t your typical person, so why should she get a typical cake? Besides, they’re overdone. I decided on making cupcakes for her party instead. Rummaging around the kitchen, I searched for the ingredients and appliances I would need, and set to work on messing up my kitchen and making the best cupcakes I have ever made.

  29. I love to eat cupcakes. Everyday. They are so yummy they make my tummy say yay. But I have to ask – Why do we call them cupcakes? Is it because it is a cake that is formed in a cuplike mold? Why not cakecups? Cakecups…mmmm yeah. Ok, that’s it. I actually don’t think I am a better writer when I am buzzed.

  30. What an insult. Another fluffy triviality every second. Cloying, empty, merely pretty, substanceless, in fact desirable yet insidiously damaging … thanks a lot. I am not your cupcake, or anyone else’s.

    by Dray on 01.01.1970
  31. cupcakes are really tasty, they can be regular, or chocolate. They can have sprinkles and candy and gummy worms and bears on them. I like the rainbow cupcakes because they have a lot of flavour. Cupcake is also used as a nickname instead of ‘sweetie’ or something like that.

  33. one of my favorite desserts is a cupcake. My Mom used to make them when I was a kid. I especially liked the thick rich icing she used to put on them. It was often lemon flavored. I love all kinds of cupcakes except chocolate. I hate chocolate cupcakes. That is very strange because I really like chocolate in just about every other sense.

  34. Cupcake ? Cake that is a cup ? Or a cup that is a cake. Technically its a cake in the shape of a cup. Who invented the cup ? Was it by mistake or did someone actually think it out for hours and hours until they had it right ?

  35. A cupcake sat on a table.
    My stomach rumbled.
    I reached for the cupcake,
    and took a bite.
It felt like I entered another world,
One full of candy and sugar.
    Little girls made frosting angels,
    While boys ate.
    I opened my eyes,
    and took another bite.
    And it began again.
