  5. SMASH! A bang rings out throughout the building. It seems inconsequential, but in your head it’s one of the most mortifying things that acn happen on your daily walk from the vending machine back to the chemical vat. It’s not like it’s a massive faux par per-se, but admitting to that kind of clumsiness at the same time as causing a potnetial near-death experience is a bit rough.

  7. There is something metallic in the collision of spirits as the collision of souls. It leaves a bitter taste in your mouth and when it does not meld exactly as it should, one car is left with more damage than the other- rear bumper. When hit from behind, the driver in back is always at fault- like an insurance that backstabbing is never the fault of the one who got hurt.

  10. I’ve had a few collisions in my time, though thankfully none of them were vehicular (except for a couple of fender benders that were someone else’s fault). When I think of collision, I think of two clashing ideas meeting in the middle, cognitive dissonance. In that sense I experience collisions daily.

Sadly masculine his naked body lies beside me,

  36. The collision of thought and speech is often like the edge of an edifice. Running to the words happens so fast, but everything stops as you reach the edge and realize what it is you’re saying. Would it not be so restful just to share thought truly?

    by TheBowlerCapFairy on 10.19.2009
