    Her skin color, and the way it caught the light like no alabaster white, no midnight black, no soft peach color ever could

  3. Bronze is a type of metal. It’s also the third place type of medal (with a dal) in the Olympics. People may think bronze isn’t much of a prize, but heck, if you’re in a world-wide race, and you win 3rd place, that’s damn impressive.

  6. it’s easy to think about bronze on a 100 degree plus day in southern california. The skin of seemingly everyone around me is the color of deep bronze. It makes me wonder whether everyone truly ventures outside or goes to the tan salon.

  25. bronze marks the third place at contests. it’s also what many statues are made of. It rusts and goes a remarkable shade of green. Many artists and sculptors love to use it in their works.

  27. The treasure chest or hairy chest? Either way, it’s always better than first prize or the silver medal. First is the worst, second is the best, but third is the one with the manly of many chests, or maybe a chest full of treasures and gold.

  28. It’s bronze. I might as well have lost. Bronze is a metal that pretends to be gold so that maybe it can feel like it’s worth something. But bronze is about as worthwhile as copper. I lost. Everything.

  29. To earn a bronze metal means that you are not the best one. But to think in another way, it means that you also win something; and thus, still a winner.

  36. bronze is a color like brown and it is for 3rd place i don’t like bronze it is ugly and brown is ugly i don’t like to get in 3rd place because when you do get mad because you didnt get first place.
