  10. Assisted living is very beneficial to affluent people with senile parents. It could be that others, not so affluent, would be justifiably jealous of their rich cousins and not having the means to afford assisted care would give up their parents to less scrupulous persons for less money.

We all could do with a little help in life some of us are willing to admit this whilst others are not because you have this idea that if you are assisted it will make you weak or make you look like you can’t do anything but is so wrong with that sometimes we just need to let down are guard and allow others to assist us in life.

  14. I kneeled down, trying to help the man in-front of me. he had a broken arm, and one eye was swollen beyond belief. There were many others that needed to be assisted, but I could only help one, then move on. The others had left, thinking it was pointless, tat you couldn’t save them all..

  15. Assisted; implying help, whether reluctant or given gratefully, we all need help in aspects of our lives. Sometimes we can be given assistance with school work, employment, or something such as friendship. We need help. We say we do not need assistance, that it is for weaker people. It is not true.

  21. I am writing about being assisted today. Assisted is a word that derives from assist. You can assisted someone with a task they need to complete and you can be assisted by someone who is helping you complete a task. Being assisted is a very nice thing because it helps at your biggest time of need.

  24. Assisted is a great word. Assisted is they way to get my sons out of bed. They need to be assisted out of bed every morning. I like to use a cold glass of water. They don’t lioke to be assisted out of bed. They like to stay there as long as possible. Being assisted out of bed is not the way to get out of bed at my house.

  25. There was an old lady who lived across the street from me.
    She had a walker but you could tell that she couldn’t walk very well, her legs were rather weak.
    She was assisted by a little boy in a blue and yellow shirt who barely reached up to her elbows but it was the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen.

    Or imagined. Because nothing like that happens in real life anymore.

  32. Sometimes I will want to assist people in their life in general, I want to just help sometimes. Once having assisted someone, I feel better about myself, knowing that I have done a selfless deed for someone else and that I have made their day go by a little easier. I like helping people.

Just as the stoplight turned red, I expected the elderly man to start walking, but he stood frozen on his spot. Perplexed, I crossed the street and joined him.   34. assiting makes me thing about helping someone. it could be a professor, a friend, a relative or just a stranger who is in need of my help. generallt nothing can prevent me from helping someone if i am able to do that. but assist i guess is much more than help. and furthermore it may be something that you are payed for doing.

    every day she would call me – sometimes more than once. she then detailed everything that happened to her that day. and i always found myself wishing things were in reverse. not because i’d like to be her or have her life, but because she had someone to listen.

    eventually, i stopped listening.
