mango
In middle school my best friend and I listened and cracked the fuck up listening to this really popular girl talk about her dog, Mango. Mango apparently humped everything, and this girl didn't understand why. She was ditzily going on about it, and at one point she got down on the floor and pretended to hump something, yelling "The pleasure is all YOURS, Mango!". It was hysterical.
outlet
The sign at the bottom of my street reads "No Outlet". I have always thought this was just a nicer way of saying "Dead End". "Dead End" sounds foreboding. "No Outlet" sounds like a polite suggestion that passers-through might not want to try this route.
sage
Sage is what I burn when there are ghosts in the house. The last time I burned sage was at 5 AM when my sister woke me up to tell me about the voices in the basement. I don't know why or how but it works to banish the bad energies and spooky stuff that happens in old houses. It doesn't smell that good, though. But fresh sage leaves are soft like lamb's ears.
