She waited. She waited weeks and weeks and weeks. What was she waiting for? No one in the village could figure it out. But every morning there she was, looking out the window. Waiting. Will she ever get what she's waiting for? Who knows. But she is stupid enough to keep waiting. Until weeks because month. Until months become years

I stood there waiting for my score. I had just put on the best routine of my life, but who knows it if it was enough. My entire life came down to this moment. The panel of judges in front of me determined my future, and as if that wasn't enough, the looks on their faces were emotionless. Then, there is was. 9. 10. 9. 9. 10. I'm going to the finals.

Look! Look up there! The windows! They have these glass squares in them. What on earth do you call those things again? I can't seem to remember. Will SOMEONE please jog my memory? Oh gosh what are they called...oh yes now I remember, they are glass panels.

She walked against the wall slowly and hesitantly. She sensed it was there, although she could not see it. One side of her face, her long, white, wispy whiskers, brushed against the wall gently. Although she was blind, this is how she made her way.
