These are the people we watch. Well, the people I watch anyway. I'm really a spectator, a listener, an observer, sitting on the edge holding sunglasses. I like it this way. I never needed a racing heart, but you, you've done me in.
straw
I think about out West. Pretty much every day, it comes to mind. The vast expanse of openness. Maybe I'm mixing up straw with something else, I'm sure that I probably am, but this is how the mind works. I always wonder, if, because this county rolls along, if the people out West understand more about the vastness of the world. Because it appears so long and lean, the horizon so deep and stretched. Not like around here, where you twist and turn into green tunnels.
chat
The word is still chat? I guess I'll write about it, but I don't really want to because the word was chat yesterday too. Listening in is usually the best way. I mean, I don't like to really 'chat' with people - I'll have a conversation, but not a chat. It's usually about something mundane, like a TV commercial. No I haven't seen that one.
chat
I'm new to this. It's like self-chat. And that being said, I just wrote about a different word, grind, and posted it here, in chat. And I liked it what I wrote, so here, let's chat about grind for a second. This word is not really ugly, you know. It’s totally necessary. We need this tension, this friction, this repulsive feeling, in order to feel whole again at the final resolution, the peace, the light, the endless. Grind is a boundary that sets me free. Without that extra something pushing against us, we are too timid for our own good. And for the complainers – at least this grind gives you some perverted purpose.
