The heart sat in a small wooden box in the corner of the room. Seemingly so out in the open, but so coldly forgotten. It sat there in that dusty corner lonely and confused. It wondered as to why someone would lock it in such a special place and then act like it never existed.

I heard a knocking, a rapping at my chamber door. Poe wrote this in the darkest of his days. Yet were all his days not the darkest? I sit here a poet with a fleeting sense of hope, and the man would laugh in my very face.
sanctity
The sanctity of marriage was one something held so sacred. Generations before us held it in their hearts as a precious and joyous thing. Now even those younger than me know the foolishness and lack of sanctity in this. Broken into pieces of what we once were, we stand and fall.

the sociological aspects of whats appropriate to be or what others think we should become is of no importance to anyone but our own persons. If i was to come to you and ask you about what you thought the modern day acceptable things to do were what would you answer? Life is not the gossamer illusion that it seems.
