There were a lot of strange elements to the way the program was set up. For instance the fact that none of the women were allowed make up, or anything that made them feel comfortable. I guess that was there way of showing they weren't going to put up with any of our shit. We didn't have anywhere else to go, Cedar Crest was the last stop--they knew they could make it hell.

I was a leash kid. Born in the late eighties, and tethered. It explains a lot. Especially when you consider how I've become tied to the idea that each place is just another leash, another thing to bolt from. Invisible tethers.

He was never pleased with me. No matter what, and I'm thankful for that. If it weren't for the endless amount of insults... I wouldn't be where I am at this moment. He was wrong, he was wrong about it all.
