Violet is a color. Violet was used in a poem once. Violet is a fancy name for purple. Like, Crayola crayons never say purple, they say violet. I thought this said violence at first. Hey, the word is the color Violet. So is the timer bar thingy. Violet is a stupid word.

The bruise turned a bright vibrant shade of violet. I never imagined it would fester, blister, and then change color as it did. Now the evidence was apparent to everyone. How was I going to explain this?

My birthday flowers are the color of violet. So beautiful, they make me smile. So sweet of the one who gave them to me. They made my day.

Violet reminds me of a play that I was in when I was in fifth grade. My mom made a dress for me. I played George Washington’s granddaughter. I actually was the star! I will never forget that my mom created a costume for me using violet material!

The flower blooming slowly pushing up from the emerald greenery around it cold morning and it’s becoming lighter and lighter as the flower grows…and grows and blooms and it zooms larger and fuller and brighter and past the zenith as it begins to fade into dark and death and decay and loam giving way to a new life.

the flower in the garden that grows as it glows in the middle of the night. As the morning arrives the other flowers shine but the violet sleeps as it awaits for the night to enter. The flowers might laugh but the violet just waits and as the sun hides, the violet rises.

Violet should be one of the colors on the rainbow. It’s more pretty than red, blue, or purple. It’s the color of the sky in the dawn of summer. It’s the color of a new day. Violet, brings hope and joy to mankind through its innocent simplicity.

this is the best color ever! I love it.
what else are you supposed to write?
It’s a shade of purple that everyone must love or I will kill them
this is the best color ever!
Oh, I already wrote that.
Well, pooie on you. Stop the damn timer!
This timer thing annoys me….can I cry now. I love violet, it’s the prettiest shade of purple.

Violet rays jetting out like language of the divine, my writing is always so spacey, from other world, where did I come from then? Some distant land of paradise and I cannot fathom this world, the fear and anger, the greedy goblins taking over, let us love, let us find it in there somewhere buried deep, a violet glow beneath the rubble. There is so much more to us than this creeping fear that we are not enough.

I don’t really like this color
Only when it is with green
They go so well together.
I fall in love with it.
Nah, not love.
A mutual relationship.
And whenever I hear this word I think of a purple flower.
And Vermilion City.

A lovely shade of purple. People who live in Manhattan, KS eat, live and breathe purple as it is the K-Sate color. Remember the song “Violets for her furs?” Lovely old ballad. I like violets, too,

violet, bled the color of the flower bursting with life. a different shade ready to stand on green grass on a blue sky. violet, the flower shouted with every gust of wind. the sun beated a smile; the witness of daylight.

Violet fished around in her purse in a tizzy. She knew it was in there yesterday, but for some reason it was nowhere in her purse. Today it turning out to be one of those days that you wished you would have just stayed in bed, she mumbled to herself.

fingers scathed the violet skin with utter disbelief, enjoying ever small ridge and unusual bump on the seadwellers body. His bi-colored eyes flicked up to examine the other curiously, asking in a look, why he hadn’t showed this to him before

the color of passion on a mood ring, ,makes you feel all tingly inside when it turns violet.
wondering who could of stolen your heart to make that ring turn violet. taking you back farther than you can imagine, farther than you really want to go. who could it be? and who is this charming person you speak of, i do not recall ever loving some one so much to make my ring turn violet but who ever could it be? i guess i will never know.
Strewn across the floor
Is it a wedding
Or some romantic
Or are they just dreams
Fallen, in pieces
Just a glimpse of what
They once were
I suppose I’ll never truly know

The vibrant violet sunset cast strange shadows across their faces as they stared at what had becom of their once great nation. Smoke rose from the embers, as their homes quietly disintegrated into flame. The fire crackled and spit out the skeletons of their malls, schools, and offices. The people knew whatever the new world became was upto them: the survivors.

Violet is the color of the newly bruised dawn sky, blossoming into a clean and hopeful morning.

Parma Violets. Fuels strong nostalgic feelings about trips to the sweety shop with my mum as a child. Wish I appreciated those times more while they were here.
By Scott on 07.21.2011
Violet has always been my favorite color. Especially the deep, blue violet of sunset. I feel like it’s one million emotions. But as a light wave. Is that weird?
By HippieLlama on 07.21.2011
Violet is insincere. I remember my best friends mom telling her she would decorate her room for her, and she’d tie all these little violet ribbons all over, and then she would call her fat, and ugly, and stupid. I hate violet.
By Bree on 07.21.2011
pretty, shy, sly and beautiful. It has a mysterious feeling to it. The word is smooth and calm. A soft color and soft spoken. :) Quiet
By Kayle URL on 07.21.2011
Violet is such a beautiful word, yet so close to ‘violent’. Kind of reminds me of humanity and how it can change from compassion to aggression so quickly.

The colour violet, how beautiful and serene it is. It’s a flower. I wish I had violet eyes. Only one person has naturally violet eyes, I can’t remember her name. Dammit. It’s so pretty. I wish someone would give me flowers when I was feeling like this. I don’t know what else to write. Lololol.

Violet has always been my favorite color. Especially the deep, blue violet of sunset. I feel like it’s one million emotions. But as a light wave. 380 to 450 wavelength something-or-others. A wave comes out as all these amazing things. Is that weird?

Like a flower. Purple. Such a pretty color. I’m not sure how it make me feel though. Calm? Happy?

When all you have left is to stare at a violet door you realize all hope may be lost. Being locked in this room with nothing was not how I wanted my summer to start, But it’s for my own protection, or so my mother says. I, however, am not so sure.

Violet is a magnificent color , it’s one of the most beautiful colors.

I don’t understand naming people after flowers. People stink. People can be ugly. You can’t be sure your baby won’t grow up to look like a cabbage that’s been chucked off a building and if you name them “Violet” or “Rose” or “Lily” it will only make the contrast that much more stark. Plus, flower names are a lot like food names, like Cherry and Sugar, and names ending in “ie” or “i”, like Brandi and Hunnie. They all seem to belong to at least one hooker.

The text of the subject word is, violet. It is a soft purple color and I find it a little appealing, even though I’m not a major fan of purple in general. Violet could be different things of color. Violet could also be used as female’s name.
By nobody special on 07.21.2011
It smelled beautiful in that violet room. I didn’t know what it was and I didn’t plan to figure out. I just always loved the smell. I would sit in there for hours and just breathe. Then I remembered life was still out there and it was time to do something productive. Mom would tell me to get a job or a career or go to college. She was drunk, of course, and didn’t realize I was only ten.

Her violet hair stood out, even in the bright surroundings. It contrasted with the blues and pinks of the hipster crowd, and the reds of the goths, and the normal colors around her as well. It was beautiful, in its way, but it was strange and something that no one would have expected of her.

Violet. Such a vivid, outstanding color. Some colors are meant to calm, to relax, to excite. Violet, though, it will always mean one thing to me. It reminds me of him, of what he made me feel. I’ll never forget that.
By Christine Marie URL on 07.21.2011
I can see a violet sunset, a deep rich violet saturating the clouds with it’s all powerful purple-ness. Yes, I said it, I said it. It’s all powerful effing purpleness. The violet clouds reflect various shades of orange and blue and pink, shining down on you with a calm glow. It’s beautiful, you think, running your fingers through your deep blue hair, a smile held firmly on your face.

Simple pure and soft. A field of flowers envelopes the landscape, contrasting against the serene sky and fiery sun. I pick one and stare, it blows in the wind disappearing among the others.
