How to treat people with kindness and compassion; how to balance a budget; how to respectfully decline an invitation, or act when you feel threatened. He wanted to tell her how much he loved her, even though she had only been in his life such a short period of time. But his time on earth was coming to an end, and she would have to learn all of this from someone else.
