  1. I went running into the living room to find a cauldron full of presents; Harry Potter books, Harry Potter candies, toy broomsticks and a single toy wand. I gushed about the things for weeks, months, years. I still could, if anyone wanted to listen. My family and friends laughed at a ten year old waving a wand around, laughing. They never understood. For once, my mom had really tried with a present for me. Someone had worked hard to make sure my birthday was a memorable one. I kept the toy wand for years until a friend snapped it, and it was reluctantly that I put it into the trash. I outgrew the toy broomstick, the Quidditch and Magical Beasts books were lost in the mess beneath my bed, but the memory of that birthday and the time someone agonized over how to make my birthday special lasted.

  2. Wands remind me of Harry Potter. It is not simply a stick or a twig but it is something you can create with. Whatever you imagine is at your finger tips, nothing can stop you when you have a wand. It is what defines a wizard over a muggle. No, not over. It just assists a wizard in finding the full potential of their magical abilities. Like a dancer wearing the correct shoes. It’s a helper.

and her mothers necklaces and high heels

  4. the young man stood in the long hallway. HIs breathing had slowed, and his face was red. THe only thing he wanted to do was sleep, but he no longer could. His wand hung by his side, and suddenly he felt the warm sensation of love tickle the back of his next. “Why do I have an NRB?,” he asked himself. There was no answer. There was no reason.

  16. Wand, a magical instrument we can wave to make all our dreams come true. As children we believe in happily ever after and maybe it is that dream that makes it impossible for us to ever be happy, because this mythical place doesn’t exist after all, we are sad to later discover. It is painful growing up and no longer being able to believe in princes and princesses and magic kingdoms and wizards and fairy godmothers and bibbity bobity boo.

The end of it has been rubbed to a sheen by the oils in his hand and the bark is all but stripped form the branch, but non the less, it is beautiful. The instrument is not that of hatred, and you can see it in the wand, it may be that of a plaything, but you can also see that it is real, if not in your eyes, but in the eyes of a small child. It is his wand.

  37. harry potter and his movies. I love his movies and the way they make me feel, and the fact that he is so cute. But Ronald Weasly is cuter. I really wish that he was a real character and it is to the point that I really wouldn’t mind meeting Rupert Grint just so I could get caught in that mind set. Speaking of which, that mind set. Sometimes I want to run away and sleep because that’s the only time i feel normal.
