  1. wade into the shallow water and let yourself relax

Wade, if you look up to skies you may
see sometimes clear blue made heaven,

the water blue-spirit with heavens clearest blue-images…

  11. Wade is the name of a pottery company that produces tiny, badly formed animals. They have risen in price in recent years on the second hand market.
An alternative meaning is to walk in water, usually the sea – a cold and uncomfortable way to behave in most circumstances.
Either way for me this is a negative word.

  15. wading is fun if the weather is warm, brings back memories of childhood, canoes, vermont, and my dogs and cats.

wading also is fun unless there are poisonous jellyfish – often occurs in australia.

  16. i wade through the mire of life in boots to short to keep the mud out. Too bad I can’t wade to a distant shore where there’s beach sand instead.

  17. The word wade reminds me of wading in the creek behind my old house when I was bout 10 years old. We were always looking for lizards and toads and anything else slimy that we could put in a jar. Wade also reminds me of my former co-workers who were married and that was their last name. I had a dream about them the other night actually.

  18. I waded in the water. Lapping at my legs. I went towards her. She stayed there. I wanted to run to her, but the water had stopped me. Or at least slowed me down. I had to reach her somehow… I couldn’t wade fast enough though.

  20. Wading through the swamp was not pleasant and Abigail felt like she should complain to someone, perhaps that aligator lazily floating over there next to the dripping trees. She sighed. Why did George always run to the dankest parts of the swamp? It was hardly fair. The pills meant that he never seemed to notice the wet and cold, whereas her nurses uniform was already plastered to her skin after only fifteen minutes stepping through the thick murky water.
A bird chirped fromt he canopy above and Abigail squinted, wondering how low the afternoon sun had gotten. She was sure it was still early, but the shadows never seemed to fade, even on the brightest days in here. The water swirled in huge slow ripples and she wondered which way George had gone.

  21. in these ocean waves i see my face, colored red with gore. In grapes of ebon sweet parade and sugar cup beyond the sale of grand unmake. Ere the tide did sweep me up, body legs and soul and all.

  22. to wade into the ocean is one of life’s simple pleasures. wading or paddling is something that is done often and freely as a child but becomes more of a chore as we age. or mature. wading becomes part of doing paperwork or laundry or cookery, not the simple joy of immersing oneself in cool, calm or tumultuous water.

  37. Wade…that’s all i told myself i was going to do; just wade maybe hip-deep into the water. i wasn’t going tp let myself be seduced by the cool stillness of the clear blue water, wasn’t going to let myself syccumb to it’s cool depths.
But what if i did/ who would know, much less care? other people have over the years; their names whisperd through our small town in hushed tones.

  38. I waded in a pool of utter despair and self doubt – it was utterly useless; why did I have to ask her? I could have waded through life, nervously looking into her mysterious eyes for a life time, except that had been ruined. I have a choice to make; I can’t go on as I am now, disconsolate and despondent at the thought of my very mistake. I could continue living my life, but would anything ever be the same? Probably not – it was wistfully I hoped that we would go back to normal. I extinguished this hope. I have chosen to wade towards a different life; a life in which I shall cease to live. A life without the purgatory burdens of my predicament. A life of senseless happiness – unfeeling and loved. A life in which I would console, recover and continue. Life is a gift – one stupid mistake and I have wasted mine…
