“Damn the warden and his crocodiles!” He yelled at his cell mate when they tried to stop him

  4. To wade is to bring back nostalgic memories of childhood – seeing who could snort the most crack at the age of 6, racing to lose your pants at the age of 8 and kiss tag with teenagers whom had been infected with HIV at the age of 11. All children have these memories, but are simply to stupid to remember them. At best, a child is stupid until the age of 70 when they have the sense to move out of their parent’s house. The word orchid just sprung to mind, so I will shut up, but remember – if you drive faster, the person you would have hit wouldn’t have had a chance to cross the road yet and they won’t die unless a small ninja slits his own writs and performs gender relocation surgery on its victim. Ah – Peace at last. LUCINDA ROCKS (you morons!)

  5. She crept up to the water’s edge. Her husband had already plunged in, doing a bit of a belly flop into the surf. She saw his trunks balloon out around his legs as they filled with water that seeped in from his waist band. She wanted to follow him and waded in a bit. She did everything she could to make him happy. At least she wanted to. But in time her resolve broke down and her personal misery crept to the surface again, and she couldn’t find a way around it, couldn’t find a way to imagine happiness.

  11. In the cascade, you washed me and we waded to the shores of hospitality, with the sound of running water echoing through our brains, through our bodies, a continuous wave between our interlinked fingers, a wave above all the rest, a wave separate from all the rest.
It was in that moment, as the water crashed around us that I knew I would drown for you.

  23. I decided to take a risk, wading into this water. It has never done me well before, and yet I thought things may have changed. It seemed safe at first, but now I feel the same currents pulling me away. The choice now is whether to let them continue to pull or call for help. And to make sure I never wade into these same waters again.
