  6. I hate this stupid word. My first thought was don’t do it and then of course, that voice inside of me took over. That voice of the girl sitting in the first row of her Poli Sci classes taking notes on even the less important things. That girl knows the need to Vote is key to changing whatever bullshit system we’re dealing with. The more people who think their vote doesn’t matter the more trouble we, we as nation gets into. But shit, I guess the word Vote could have gone for anything. It could have just meant…Vote for your favorite jam at the downtown, local fair so, Mrs. Betty Jones can have another blue ribbon on her wall, the bitch.

  7. to vote again
    I was not listened to
    The first time
    I was ignored
Did you not see my hand
    Waving high
    I was just wallpaper
    To your agenda
    Next time
I will wear a chicken suit
    Ignore me now
    Bitch

  9. Democracy is such rubbish. Churchill said it was the worst form of government (except for all the others). I suppose I’m complaining about democracy as we have it today. Surely, looking through ancient history would come up with better ways of doing it.

  12. I have no idea. I have never done it before. Voting makes people crazy and government makes people crazy. I could honestly care less if I vote or not. I kind of want to thought because Obama sucks. I hate history and anything like that. I wish I lived in the old days when people knew everything about politics. But I don’t know anything and i’m expected to.

    by Miranda Hughes on 10.01.2012
  13. The vote was important but no one could really decide on who to pick. Both candidates had some good points but both also had bad ones too. No one wanted to vote for someone who would try to control every aspect of their lives but no one would also vote for someone who seemed to totally ignore them, their needs, and their wants, wishes and desires.

  35. Again with the “vote.” I wish there were a new word each day. Sometimes I don’t want to write about the same word I wrote yesterday. I do wish that everyone would vote, though, so that the right person could be voted in, the one that is the person that ALL the citizens want to be president.

  36. I have never voted in this country because I’m not one of them. It’s not allowed if you don’t belong. You see I’m an outsider. They’ve let me in but I’m not really one of them. I speak their language and don’t look any different but they still know that I’m different.

You always have a choice to vote for what you believe in, and if you feel that you are restricted in your choices, remember, you have the choice to hold back your vote, because it is a decision and a choice that you make that portrays who you are, and who you’d like to be.
