We use trays in the marketplace in the cafeterias where I work. These trays are ridiculously unnecessary- they only cause people to get fat and spill their food (but not necessarily in that order). If we got rid of the friggin trays, not only would I have less dishes to do, but you would have less food to eat. This means that I wouldn’t have to listen to you bitch about the freshman fifteen anymore, and let’s face it – that would just be wonderful.
A tray is something that you can put food on, or maybe catch something with, like the crumb tray in your toaster. It can also be used to carry drinks and food to the table, or merely to hold snacks while sitting on your coffee table. They have many uses, but yet so simple.
The waiter walked through the restaurant balancing the tray delicately. He was briefly distracted by the cute brunette sitting down near the front. AS he passed by a customer he tripped and fell, the contents falling to the floor.
