I stared blankly at my phone. All the transmissions had been cut to protect us. I can’t do this anymore. I looked up at the wall, so empty, blank of anything colorful and bright. I looked around the room, nothing, so sparse and empty. Why did I come here?

Zipping through fingertips into orifices where once was, where hollow is, ricochet, twirling around and bouncing back into golden electric fingertips, avalanches filling up voids, flicking on and off transmission, sending distress signals and hearing nothing back, and hearing nothing back, telephone lines falling and black wires snaking into empty spaces that souls have fled.
Connecting is what we live one, connections building up into themselves and not into other dry receiving corners- that is how we die.
