  6. thats what i thought about the world. a swell place. it took 50 yrs of living for that image, ythat thought to gradyually start fading. whay. was it the exposure to the real world? meaning that thus far i had been living my life cloistered in a world so different from the actual. in that world everything was rosy and everything semed to fall into place as though nothing could go wrong. was it because of the way i looked at life or was it naivette , ignorance, immaturity – god knows what.
its the reverse now nothing seems to fit. does that make the world a palce less swell or is it just the way we look at the world that makes the difference

  10. Swell is a fantastic word that no one ever uses. Old-fashioned, a sign of an older time. Perhaps originated in the 1800’s? People’s ideas of what is swell vary from time to time. Some people feel tea could be swell, while others feel that Godzilla going on rampage through Tokyo would be swell. I’m not quite sure what I would think is swell, probably an epic Star Wars fest with popcorn.
