Success is my ultimate goal. I see success as happiness and security, as well as contributing positively to society. I have worked hard my whole life with the vision of becoming successful and having a great influence on society.

Here is my wish for this life: To never think the above phrase. To never say it.
To work hard and live my life to its fullest so that I shan’t ever wake up one morning in my fifties and think,
“I wish I was successful.”
“I was successful at completing my task master!”
“Why do you tell me this at this hour?”
“Because you told me to tell you straight away!”
“I told you nothing, now what have you done?”
“I killed your daughter, just like you told me sir.”
It really hurts to get close–so close, so close–to something. And then to not reach it. I would have rather failed at the start, so that I could have quashed my hopes just then and there. But to get that close? And still see success slip through your fingers like fine sand? It just kills me.
It’s personal. It’s shallow for some and deep for others. Do I consider getting asked to prom a success? No. Merely a small drop of happiness and doubt in my life. Writing is my success. It gives me a feeling of achievement and personal satisfaction. But that is only one person’s outlook on the word of many meanings.
want. need. fear. heart. please. i want i want i want. can I? yes. who will be there. max. can’t see anyone else. I think that its meant to be. sign language. yes. helping yes. may take a while. but its possible. will not struggle. will be happy. success in my heart and soul. success. two c’s and two s’s.
doesn’t mean much to anyone that sits on the gutter and stares up at you as you walk past. they may mumble something like “do you have some change”. Change you think.. that’s what you really need

I often worry that my life won’t turn out to be a success. I push myself so hard to do so well on each and every task that I start, but I am always too afraid that in the end the result will not be a positive one. Success rules my life and I sometimes wish I could just break away from that mentality and live a more carefree life like other people I know. I guess my drive is in some way a good thing though…or at least that is what I sometimes have to tell myself.
Attaining it is hard and fulfilling. Failure is it’s opposite and lingers above the mind but fuels the want and need for success. It is love; justifiable pain.
“Take it. Just decide.” I was told those words as a little boy to inspire success and give me aspirations. Who would have thought it would have created an merciless assassin, sought after by all of the worlds ugliest monsters.
It is the end to which we all devote our life to reach. Years of study, work, and pain. All to accumulate the most toys before we die. To be the man gives to charity, and nto the one recieving it
All you need to succeed is a heart that longs to do more than just average. You can do anything you put your mind to. If you want to be successful, look inside of yourself and pull out your inner greatness that is lying beneath the surface! Success!!
Success is the ultimate goal I’d like to achieve. I believe I will feel fully successful when I transfer to Northeastern, graduate with a Music Industry/Performance degree, find an incredible career, and a wonderful relationship.
my dad and mom once told tme that i needed to figure out what success was. they said tey success was what would make me happy but i think that its really not what they think. apparently success has to make me money and it has to make them happy. I kind of want to just be happy but people don’t think i understand life. what success is isn’t what you want. its fulfilling what people think you want.
It’s so hard. What is success? I’ll never know what success is since I never think that I’d be able to reach it, but defining success is the hardest part. Is success happiness? Then, what exactly is happiness? Coming from an Asian background, our families pound the idea of success to correspond with how much money we make.
We tried, we fail repeatedly. Brenda was more determined than I was. For some reason she felt responsible. I loved her. I would have done anything she asked of me. All she wanted was to be a mother. All the success she had as an actresses was a shallow substitute.
I am successful.

How does one measure success? Is it measured by how satisfied a person is with themselves and their life, or is it judged by how others perceive their life? A person can be completely happy with their station in this life, but be seen as inferior for whatever reason by those who are “above” them. Personally, I think success has everything to do with how one feels about themselves — are they surrounded by love, peace and happiness, regardless of what they do? Then they are successful.
success is overated. i think i’ve heard that somewhere or maybe i just messed up a popular phrase. its hard to measure success. is it in completing goals? or in helping others? does it come from within or from others’ praise?
Success is not failing. Success is catching that damn butterfly. That elusive, smug little thing just won’t let me catch a break, will it? But it’s pretty, and I desire it. The butterfly will be mine. I don’t care that it thinks otherwise.
So tell me not to feel this concept, “success.” For it blinds the beholder. Isn’t that true? Under the wrong circumstance, I believe success is the worst of all happenings. It will destroy a beauty. Yet in all its perfection, it becomes beauty; a beauty that would kill someone to be without.
Success is overrated. I mean, our entire society is based on how successful we are as individuals, how well we make money or garner respect. I suppose success is better than failure though. Beats the hell out of losing.
Success comes in many shapes. You may achieve something you didn’t even think you could achieve. Look: Success isn’t something you plan, it’s something that happens. That setting goals idea is crap. If it worked, then everyone would be successful, and then maybe everyone would be happy.

One day, my friend decided to go to the grocery store and she happened to look upon a young single man. The man of her dreams, but she did not yet know it. I know this was a big success for her, because she always ran away from love. It was unlike her to chase her dreams, but to fulfill others dreams, making everyone else happy except herself. She finally had a chance to be happy with the man she now loves.
why am I doing this? I am not successful in conventional terms of the word…I’m still just a student figuring it out; I have no boyfriend; no job…BUT I’m happier right now than I have been in literally years. That to me is success.
success is when you feel like you’ve got nothing else to prove to. It’s a bit like being at peace with what you have, because when you’re at peace then you have conquered your inner demon.

palms sweaty eyes watering like the sink in the kitchen
“You would take it all back for me?”

stepping backwards into the dresser she left a small bruise on her lower back that would never be acknowledged
her perfect ringlets braised her shoulders as he leaned in, gazed in her eyes and said,
“Baby if I don’t have you, I have nothing.”
she trembled as he grasped her chin, kissed her violently.
Success is different for many people. For some, success is graduating from college and getting a good job. For others, success is raising a family, being a good parent. Success for some may be looked down upon by others. It’s in the eye of the beholder. Some may think success is just accomplishing any task.
My success is of little importance to me. My success isn’t nearly as significant as the things I will do for other people. Hopefully. I want to help- I want to love and be the best I can be. For others, and for me.
i don’t think that success is as linked to money like everyone else does. i don’t want money. i want to be happy, and i don’t think success or cash can give me that. it’s not something that is important to me. I wanna help people, i wanna join the peace corps and save lives, not work in a cubicle for sixty years.
