  11. this is the same word as yesterday. what if it never changed and all we got was substance? never any fluff or filler or veneer. pure raw substance. but even now there is no substance to the word substance. it is all container. There is nothing there behind that word. so abstract, vague. you have no idea what I mean, specifically.

    Tonight it is I that has a substance in me. Not much but enough to place a headache beneath my forehead. I’m not sure I’m a fan of substances tonight.

  25. I totaly need a man with substance. He has got to have actual thoughts in his head! He needs to have opinions and they don’t have to be the same as mine but he needs to have them. I love debating and arguing. I think it shows the true colors of a relationship.

  32. Talking about things of substance. You don’t have conversations like that very often. Things of substance are hard to come by. It is much easier to talk about things like a new pair of shoes, the weather, or what you had for lunch that day. Talking about topics that actually have substance are oftentimes scary. Things like war, love, politics, and sex…these are all very heavy topics, topics that have a lot of substance. Why is it that people often shy away from topics of substance?

  35. chemistry we use substances. there are many things that can be defined by the word substance.
    people have different substances in their personalities that make them who they are. there are lots of different substances in milkshakes too. so it’s not really something that is just in one thing. it’s something that makes up many things.

  37. Substance abuse come to mind, that might just be where I live though. A place where most of the people with any sense of opportunity screw them selves over just to get a little high or just to get drunk. Ironic, substance abuse leads to lack of moral substance.

    But that does make it appear that i am advocating drug use. I am not. Drugs are bad.
