  1. when you are sad and lonely the thing taht comes to your rescue is a stereo. its a friend which can talk to you as long as you want it to , at volume at which you want it to and you can change the subject of conversation any time you want.
a stereo is one machine one should always carry for life may ditch you..the stereo wont ..even if there is a power cut..it can run on batteries ..so if you can treat it well ..a stereo is the best friend that you can have..

  4. music makes the world go round with the wonders of how many appliances can provide it. The stereo needle, the record, the turntable, the dials…..how I miss the scratchy scratch. or does stereo mean any unit that provides music with a volumn, and tune selection. 8 tracks, tape players, boomboxes, walkmans, ipods, itunes, cds, cd players, mp3s burn your own. The louder the better; not so much for the ears, but I LOVE MUSIC, it takes me to a places that have made me feel sad and happy and ecstatic and hopeful and that the world is all right. at the same time providing the truth through country music that not everyone wants to hear.

  18. I saw it there through the windshield. I saw a nice place for it. In that car. Who owned the car? I don’t know. But I decided I was going to put a stereo in there. He didn’t have one. Maybe his was stolen. Maybe even that day. Wouldn’t it be weird if he opened his car to find a stereo that wasn’t his in there?

  21. the sound of two at once, both places at the same time, in both ears, filling your head.. it’s a sound of fullness, a sound of harmony, or dissonance, depending. always depending. two sounds, two places, two people, to minds. two voices, two everything, working together, or clashing into a raucous mess of disorienting noise. love in stereo. love together.

  27. Wow, two speakers and some sound. This was once the cutting edge of audio technology, but compared to surround sound 5.whatever setups we have today, sheesh, it’s hard to think “two points of output” was ever impressive. And what about “stereo systems” with tape players and turntables?

  32. Stereoscopic vision is the best preventer of accidents in everyday life. A stereo player, on the other hand, can actually cause accidents, especially when you wear a headset while driving a car. What about stereograms, then? Do they really improve eyesight? Or are they just headache inducers? Whatever it is, I don’t know whether the word is Greek or Latin
