  1. Sixteen, the number of people I’ve killed today. Today was a tragic day in Africa. My regime’s jeep caught on fire and all we had in the truck were people and explosives. That’s a deadly potion for disaster. I was the only one who survived of course, I’m not sure what God has in store for me, but if he wanted me to live, he obviously wants me to tell you about it. So I am.

  2. I am.
    That was the worst birthday.
I thought this would be my changing year
    my year of splendor
and its all been the same.
We don’t change by a number
because we don’t age when we’re ready
    we change when we’re ready.
    This summer, I’ll be ready.
    17 here I come.
    Germany here I come.

  3. Man, when I was sixteen… you don’t even know. Newly atheist, multi-drug addiction, crazy catholic parents… bad mix. I got through it, met the “love of my life”, who turned out to be the source of all my pain for the next 5 years actually. I started going goth, going crazy, going everything but forward when I was sixteen.

  8. Its a magic day the day to drive the day for freedom. You run you jump you laugh.. You crash and burn. No license, no freedom, no way to get out from under like you were hoping. Already an at risk driver, now its even worse. You have to wait a whole how ever long before you can even try again.

  9. There were sixteen years to think about what she had done. Sixteen years for him to find her again, she hadn’t killed him. Only his heart, his pride, and he could no longer flatulate.

  10. was the age that i thought everything would be perfect, because my sister and her friends were all hot and sexually active and skinny and popular at that age, they could wear jeans – i however was eight years old and a bit naive and clueless in terms of how the world worked socially, good job books, tv…

  11. You are sixteen going on seventeen. I haven’t seen that show in a while. Maybe I should pop it in after I am finished with that. I am sixteen years old, and I am loving it. I am sixteen years old, and I am living life large. Mrs. Garrett would be proud of me for writing about the word sixteen for a whole minute. Wait, is sixteen a word or a number? AH! It’a both!

    by Sarah on 03.11.2009
  12. Sixteen will be the best year of my life. maybe. But i know for a fact it will be better than al the years leading up to it. sixteen is when you can drive. I’d be pretty close to free.and im not going to mess it up like my brother did.

Ha ha ha. I was a little sad when I turned 17 because I could not sing this song and apply it to my age.

  14. Sixteen, the best age in the world. I can date. Wonder who will ask me out first. I can get my driver’s license. Let me think what kind of car dot I want. Sixteen, I can live forever.

  15. an age in high school. getting driver’s license good. the rest of it horrible. learned to drive a stick shift car with a friend. Dad was too impatient to teach. but what a hard clutch to learn on. Would never go back to that age again.

  16. Sixteen, most would link this with thier age. However such a prompt can be used uniquely, an example would be a number of things yet this too is cliche, so perhaps a storya bout the number, its origin, its practical uses – but that too is cliche. So I propose using it as something else, “as I thrust my body through the snow, crumpling the white pieces into sheets of white paper, I climbed a hill and looked at my masterpiece; however, as I expected to see a smiley face, instead a sixteen had appeared, and thus was the beginning of my bad luck.

  17. slutty sixteen all over again.
    except i’m not sixteen anymore.
four years later and acting the same,
    fucking the same,
    drinking the same,
    being the same.

    slutty sixteen or bust?
    slutty sixteen for live,
    i guess.

  18. She was sixteen when she got her first kiss. It was at night, of course. The boy was being sweet and flirtatious, so she knew it was coming. But still, she was ecstatic. It was her first kiss! It was great, but not what she expected. It was all lips and tongue. Saliva and teeth. She wanted sparks and fireworks.

  19. I remember being 16 as if it was yesterday. I threw a “grand fiesta” at my Mom’s house and invited all of my friends. Two of my cronies snuck away; it was cocktail time! When my Mom found out, she threatened to send them home. I convinced her to let them stay, and the rest of the party went well.

  20. sixteen is such an envied and important number and our superficial American culture. all the girls want to be 16; car, huge party, being older, beautiful. this is not what 16 should be about. it is another year of our lives that we should live to the fullest; who knows what will happen the next day, week, year, or month.

  21. sweet sixteen, what a night to remember.

I’ve never felt so loved, so hated, so wronged, yet so righted.

    I love you both sincerely.

I love you both, love you both.

I had an amazing time at the party, sweet dearest, I did.

Sing with me another song, we’ll fly out for love.

Tears tonight, hold me tight. I love you both sincerely.

    Walk away from me.

  23. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! The age of extremity and chaos. Leave me and never show thy face again……

  24. Sixteen is the age of becoming a woman. While you are not legal yet, it is still a magical birthday. However, I don’t think sixteen year olds should get cars. Teenagers should wait till they are 18. And the overly lavish sweet sixteen parties thrown for so many girls is completely ridiculous. They are sixteen! They have yet to accomplish much, if anything, in life and don’t deserve the party. It really irritates me to see frivolous wasting on parties like that. But it is still

  27. I’m 16 now. And my life is over.

A car crash has robbed me of my life, of my youth, of my promise. All I have left is a few heartbeats and some tears.

My mother stands over me, shocked. The person who she created and loved is now lying dead at 16.

  28. Sixteen candles on the cake. I am a year past sixteen, nearly two. That’s a scary thought… being eighteen, being an adult, being responsible for my actions as well as just myself. Sixteen was simple in comparison.

    by Kate on 03.11.2009
  29. sixteen is one of the toughest ages for a teenager, too young to have fun, and too old to get out of doing chores. most sixteen year old girls are little bitches, and most sixteen year old boys are little punks.

  31. She was sixteen. Frail but bouncy, full of life. You would never have guessed that she had only one day left to live. She had caught the illness in Africa, in Dafur Sudan to be exact. It was a yet unidentifiable strain of the plague and she was here in New York to spread the virus. Allah had given her this gift and she had one day to infect as many Americans as she could,
Sex was the best way. She had already had sex with ten men and they would soon be her soldiers to carry on where she had left off. The whole nation would be brought to its knees by one girl. It was truly a gift.
She had hardly expected that her next partner would be a doctor. He was a doctor at the nearby St Vincents hospital and he was on his break. Three days of 24 hours non stop work and he needed a quick fix, sex was one way of a quick rejuvenation. He knew something was wrong from the rash that had now spread on her back. a bright red skin blemish that in some parts was now becoming sores. The pus was still contained in the sores but he knew that it would soon burst, the boils on her back. He had seen these boils before. They were pictures in the medical journals. Old books about the black plague in London

  36. Sixteen. I wish I could remember when I turned 16. Actually, I think I had a surprise birthday party @ CiCi’s pizza. I spent the first part of the day with my 2 cousins and another friend. Around 5:00 we got hungry and they suggested we eat at CiCi’s…
