  1. yes.

  2. The science that I love is the beauty of this world. To know it’s animals and plants by their scientific names is a science.

by Mary Lou Wynegar on 11.19.2010
  3. Once again, Therrin tried to explain this science thing to her, and those who were curious, but it honestly made no real sense to her. There was no magic, where he was, and yet he didn’t understand why they couldn’t understand that. What strange place didn’t have something so basic?

  4. Science gave him the power to read God’s work; they gave him the comfort of a universal language. Science gave him the genetic codes to stretch and bed, the cybernetic structures to recreate nature. Science gave him the technology to rebuild himself.

When he looked at Seneca Cabbot he told her that he loved her and he wanted them to live forever.

She had screamed in the hallway when his artificial heart and lungs gave out on him – the biomechatronic implants shorting when the grid went down. And she fell to her knees and did not damn science when she prayed for faith.

  5. Its what I know, its what I do, just not very well. And now I am blank, completely blank. Nothing, as per usual. Thats it. I am a lab tech which is not what I had planned to do with my science degree.

    by MichaJ on 11.19.2010
  6. proves the beauty of God’s creation and his majesty.

    by Rach on 11.19.2010
  7. I was late for Science class again – well actually I’m always late – it was the the gravity of the subject that bothered me.

  8. Science has brought the world to such a high point over the years. I’m not sure what the earth, people, life, and time would be like if there were no science; no new discoveries, medicine, help, inventions, life wouldn’t be the same. Science is just another kind of art, one where the beauty can only be appreciated by a limited amount of people.

    by Linnea on 11.19.2010
  9. I can’t feel you. I can’t touch you. I can prove you, but I don’t have faith in you. You’re not a religion; you’re facts. I can’t place all of my trust in you like my religion, but I can concur with some of which you say.

    by Kimberly C. on 11.19.2010
  10. is science, and science kinda sucks a lot.

    by asdf on 11.19.2010
  11. science is the study of what can be evaluated, repeated, observed and measured. science has its place in the world today as a method of discovery and learning.

    by mahir sayar on 11.19.2010
  12. Science is a necessary and useful subject to study. It ventures into the mysteries of life and helps us give order to an unordered existence. It can infuriate and inflame. It can solve problems and provide solutions. Science is good!

    by Lisbeth Tanz on 11.19.2010
  13. The science in her brain was crazy. There was steam coming out. It was as if someone flicked on a switch, allowing electricity to flow to her brain. It was an amazing sight.

    by Josh Lam on 11.19.2010
  14. Screechhh your frustration. It’s got to be there constantly, highjacking our thoughts. It’s got to be there, forcing ourselves to question our self worth. It’s got to be there tricking us into self despise. It’s science, born out of natural selection. We crave it, despite the copious amounts of negativity it seems to bring us. Love, it’s a science, chemical reactions in the brain, I hear. But if it’s science, than why can’t we apply formulas to it? A solid theory to it? Why can’t blunt memorization help us understand it? If love is a result of rock hard science, then why do I feel it’s liquid, elusive rock?

  15. When I first saw the frog, he was already sliced open a little. It was a sad sight, considering I had always wanted to run across a frog like this one. All of my schoolbooks and stories mentioned “frogs” and all I guess I’d ever seen were toads. This one had that slick skinned back, and didn’t have the bulging sides I’d grown accustomed to on my amphibians.

    by John Miller on 11.19.2010
  16. Science is the God we can prove, the method of fact, and His word is unassailable. He’s replaced the judeo-christian trinity and jesus christ and god and yahweh must be lower case. with no hypothesis you can’t prove the truth.

i wonder how long it’ll take to replace His High Holy Objectivity.

  17. I was never really that good at science. I was never really good at school in general, actually. But science should have been easy. I spent all of my time outside, studying turtles and tadpoles and trees and anything else that doesn’t live in a house with air conditioning. I loved being outside. Maybe that’s why I sucked at Science. It was in a classroom. How are you supposed to learn being cooped up all day long, when there’s a whole world out there waiting to be explored! It doesn’t make sense to me. My daughter loves rocks and leaves and she saves them for me and says they are each and every one, special. I think we should all think this way. Not care so much about the science, but the beauty, of nature. That’s where the real lesson comes from anyway.

    by Anne on 11.19.2010
  18. uhm uhm uhmm….I SUCK AT IT.
I dont understand it at all
But it is awsome, making all of those discoveries and such
YOU NEVER KNOW WTF IS GOING TO COME UP!!!
    I love science<3 a lot.
    mmmmhmmm.
    yeahyeaheya
    oh and
it is killling my GPA :) ….hahha

  19. it is a word defining the specifics humans attach to the world. technicalities. explanations. It’s bubbles and explosions and microscopes and blood and toads and dissecting cats in anatomy class. it’s the crazy teacher with the poofy hair that tells the best stories and knows everything.

    by Birdie on 11.19.2010
  20. Science. Meh.

Give me color, nature, architecture and design. Give me something created with aesthetics in mind.

Give me something that my eyes and ears can savor. Something that touches my soul and beckons emotion.

    by Bobby Chandler on 11.19.2010
  21. The science of life is to live as fully as possible. Science is simply the way we live. It’s the choices we make and the consequences that occur as a result. Quantum leaps are made when we choose to move beyond our boundaries, beyond our comfort zones and simply live a life that is unexpected. Life is science.

    by J on 11.19.2010
  22. Science. Science. Enjoy the Science.

Does science blind, or is it something that sounds catchy in a song. Thomas Dolby looked a lot like Andy Warhol. I wonder if he intended that.

    by Bobby Chandler on 11.19.2010
  23. What time is it? What kind of animal is it? What is that blinking light up above? What IS light? These are just a few of the many questions pondered by generations. Generations that have been composed of people who were never even taught to be scientists. BUT it was their imagination that gave them the ability to discover science.

  24. When I first saw her, I was quickly reminded of the song by Thomas Dolby. I mean, she was shocking. It was more than just her appearance. It was the confidence she exuded. Completely aware, or unaware of who she was.

    by Bobby Chandler on 11.19.2010
  25. Science is that one word. Based from math. Captured through hard work. What comes of science itself? The discovery of new species? Elements? New research that can only completely with the use of such a thing? Science aids those that long to discover more about themselves, and then universe around them.

  26. and time stops, the earth stands still
dry alone desolate empty dark cold
    very cold

we look at the future and tell ourselves it’s science,
but it could just be imagination.

  27. It wasn’t science. It wasn’t even experimentation. It was torture. There was nothing scientific about it. There were no detailed notes. There was no comparative date. There were no predictions. The only thing that came out of it was your own edification and enjoyment. Well your time’s over. It’s my turn now.

  28. cold hands with particles buzzing,
    flipping and bouncing rebounding,
butting all heads in the calmest matter,
    in the calmest MATTER.
doing what humans still can’t see in light,
    distracting retracting, no wars despite.
we all learn from matter what makes us complete,
dig deep and reflect how to keep our souls neat

  29. Science is the key to understanding the nature of reality.

    by Will on 11.19.2010
  30. logical meanings that make sense and that go agianst religion.
    science saves lives
science is hard for an artist
science is a means to end
    science

    by kylie on 11.19.2010
  31. Science is a religion with proofs. But the more we understand about science, the more exceptions to the fundamental proofs we find. I believe that the author of all science is God and that all scientific inquiry honors him.

    by Andrew Price on 11.19.2010
  32. “It’s not rocket science”, I whispered to him, “Just see if she likes cats or dogs better”
Rhys stared at me, a forkful of food halfway to his mouth. “What the hell difference does that make?!”
“Trust me”, I said firmly.’Cat people are weird”

    by Jacqui on 11.19.2010
  33. Science is what drive innovation in our times. But it is not limited to complex calculations that no average person can understand, or to the most modern technology available. Science is reason and logic, science is believeing that humanity follows a never ending ascending path.

    by João F. on 11.19.2010
  34. i love my science teacher. jb<3.

    by layla on 11.19.2010
  35. “That isn’t really scientific, you know.” she answered through her giggles.

“Pff. Who needs science? I have laughter.”

  36. The science was not exact. The supporting data was not conclusive. For now the science will have to wait to be advanced for another crack at this problem.

  37. science gives us nothing. it goes against everything the bible taught. but without science we would have so little. No fire, no medicine, no electricity. Look at everything science has given us, look at the innocence that has been taken away. What would have been a better way to live? Simply and spiritually, or scientific with all these amazing advances.

  38. math, history, Big bang Theory, geek girls, frogs, chemistry, explosions, fire, burning flesh, death, hapiness, the end

    by Gabriel Muri on 11.19.2010
  39. Science class was a drag. It stank. The teacher barely spoke english. Compared to the chemistry I took in HS, where we acutally learned how to use the periodic table, this was like being stuck with each individual element

    by Tacy on 11.19.2010
  40. This was my least favorite class in school. I will always associate it with Mr. Anderson. I took chemistry from him and I remember him trying to strong arm me into taking physics too. He was not a very interesting teacher.
