  5. salute is what you do to a person of higher rank it is a symbol of pride for a military person. it is somthing to show respect to somthing anything or that you understand.

  6. when i hear this word i think of the army and saluting your higher ups. you’re standing in a line with all these other people but you have to salute to one person. what if you don’t respect them? what if you don’t even like them but you have to salute? i mean it is a sign of respect but you won’t respect everyone you meet.

  8. you salute to flags and to the army. I really wanted to salute to the army, but didn’t want to attract attention to myself. They so deserve the respect and admiration, but I couldn’t bring my hand up to my forehead and just salute.
