  2. I do it everytime I’m in the presence of someone higher in the SOLDIER ladder than me. Although, I’m already second class, so that’s pretty hard to beat! Thank god because I hate being so stuffy and respectful.

  18. When I was younger there was a jump rope came involving saluting the captain and the queen, and something about a submarine. I never got that far…I wasn’t a very good jump roper. Double dutch was way out of my league, too.

  30. I’ve never saluted a person in real life before. I’ve considered this as it shows respect and it might also be a sentiment – something that defines me as unique, cute, peculiar. But when I think of people or things that I respect I can only think of inspirational people who are famous. Maybe I should salute myself in the mirror from time to time; a sign that I’m developing respect for myself.

  40. saluting is a very cool way of saying goodbye or like commending someone over something they have done. I have always wanted someone to salute me. It must feel pretty cool, right? Well, I think it would be pretty cool.
