i’d like to runaway from here. finally get back home to escape the loneliness. It’ll be great to spend some time forgetting that i’m not wanted here – I want to run into someone’s arms, find myself feeling wanted and loved. I’d like to run as far and as fast as I can to the place where I’m loved.
i have always wanted to runaway somewhere amazing, but could never bring myself to get further than the end of my road, i always came back home after sulking for an hour or two. One day i’ll make it past the shops! then the world will be mine!
the abandoned airfield was a favorite local hang out place, until the tradgedy of the air killer happened, no one knew who it was or what exactly started the killings all we knew is that it wasn’t quite “ordinary”
runway like at an airport. taking off. do over places besides airports have runways. i guess techniancally track meets have them for long jump and pole vault. a train station doesn’t . cars dont. i guess planes and humans are the only things that need runways.
bright lights flashing. you can hardly see but you can feel the heat of the lights. the eyes watching every inch of your body. it is exhilarating. you can’t help but smile at the end of the runway when you see the nods and smiles that your energy produce.
As we sat on the runway waiting to take off, I gazed out upon what used to be my home. From this day forward, I would not look back. I was leaving. For good.
The plane landed roughly, bouncing slightly as its wheels touched down. Miranda clenched her fingers around the end of the arm rest and held her breath until the plane finally stopped moving. The sweat pooled at her brow and she vainly tried to calm her rapid breaths.
“We are 10 minutes away from touching down,” the charming pilot’s voice came through on the loudspeaker. Kate adjusted her flight pillow. She could hardly wait to reach Spain.
He saw the Texas runway from his First Class seat. His skin, tingled. The white lights were on. Rows and rows of indicators. He was looking forward to walking on land. The sign above his head said, “Please fasten your seat belts”.

on the runway do your little walk show them how you’re always right, never wrong, you wear the label skeptic like a second skin, the new jeans, the must-have jeans, like you’re better than all the rest of us sitting in the audience passively subjected to your opinions and your beliefs, well guess what it’s just as awful as the others.
Jeff saw the runway at 1800. He turned the jet at 45 degrees then began to make his descend. He pulled the lever and felt the jet tilt. The handle jammed then he could smell smoke.
The runway is a means to freedom, bringing you to somewhere new, a sanctuary of the unknown. It’s a wonderful form of escapism, leaving behind the life you know, exploring and learning something new, somewhere new. It could be anywhere in the world you would like, the farthest corners, or the near surroundings of the world.
runway, it could stand for some way to run on. which would be a little dumb, so i associate some kind of relationship thing with it, but thats just me. i really think that this is the toughest word to write something about.
They were screaming at her. The sound filled her ears. Gwen hesitated only for a moment before springing to her feet. Her sneakers pounded the office floor as she pushed through the door.
Doesn’t everyone just want to live in peace and unity. It’s unlikely that this will ever happen with all that is conflicting in our various different cultures but a young girl can dream right?
Never thought I would imagine a runway filled with clowns and drunk magicians. “Would jets be there too?”, that’s what I’d ask myself if I really knew what I was talking about.
There is nothing probably as exciting as being a pilot and racing your plane on a runway. It’s a stage where your entire life might just flash in front of your eyes. You are the plane, the road is your routine life, and then you take off, with a great leap.
The runway at the airport is empty now. All you see is numerous amounts of weeds growing in the open field of concrete. The runway used to be one of the busiest in this country but is now infested with these weeds.
I want to runaway. Thats all i want to do. Run and run and run. I don’t care where to, I just want to run away from it all. My life is scary, my life hurts, my life makes me want to hide away forever.
Thats why I need to run. Anywhere is better than here.
runway to the stars of heaven oh so anxiously they sit waiting for us to recover from our earthly stupors stuck on earth we watch the runway and wonder what will happen next. The runway makes us live our lives fast and furiously always…
The plane taxied down the runway and came to a stop, flames shooting from it’s wings and tail and belly scraping and whining along the concrete and pavement. Immediately the emergency vehicles and personnel rushed in, firemen dousing the flames with their high-pressured hoses, and EMTs and policemen preparing for the injured to emerge. It seemed to take forever for the doors to begin opening and the yellow safety slides to inflate, although it was only about 30 seconds.
