I can’t remember thing usually, but it makes life more spontaneous I guess… It makes my boyfriend mad but his patience increases with time and so does our love, plus I try not to forget things because of him.
I remember the times when I walked carefree in the jungle. Feeling the wet dew of the leaves under my feet. Hearing the chirping of the insects and birds, especially in the morning. And feeling the cool night air.

I love it when I forget about something, for instance what happend in my childhood, and then in presens dream something and suddenly remember a childhood memory.
Try not to think to hard, just go back. Drift into those other times when you believed that history happened in black and white, just like the movies. It isn’t time to work or even to play. Just allow yourself to close your eyes and float.
i remember when i was around 8 and i saw my dad cry for the first and last time. he is a deeply disturbed man. It was over the most simple thing, he saw a phtot in the paper that looked like my mum. he got so angry over it. i remember.

do you remember the time that the fishbowl fell over the bookshelf edge because alice was pulling on the doily underneath and all the fish came out? i just remember that, can’t you– that moment when we found them out there like strangling to death and you sprinkled some of the last fishbowl water on them as we screamed to help them breathe but they just heaved their last gasps at endless intervals and we cried all the way through dinner, story, toothbrush and bed until we passed out exhausted. in the morning the bowl was in the dish drainer. the fish were gone.
‘remember’. That’s all that she had said to me as she turned away. I sat looking into my hands, grasping onto the necklace, a tear slowly falling down my cheek.
‘But,’ I looked back up, but she was already gone.
Remember, remember, remember. She wouldn’t stop starting her sentences with that word!
I would have to sit there pretending like I give a crap about what she remembers about us and our memories back in Rome…
“Yes… OH YEAH!! That was totally awesome!”
and then laugh frantically as if it’s the funniest memory ever.
