  8. Recipes are like secrets to a good magic. They are very tightly controlled, and are the paint of a piece of perfection. In order to make a good recipe, you need imagination. Everything and anything needs imagination, from the recipe of a good website to a good business. Needs recipes.

  9. I buy the books. I loove looking at all the lovely pics and reading the recipes. I think..yes… I will do this, I will try this one, this one looks interesting. But what happens after I clost the book? I put it on the shelf and it gathers dust! Then I go back to my old recipies..in my head! It is all down to custom and culture and what is easy and ready to cook.

  10. food!

  11. The recipes to life are achieving happiness, achieving propserity, and achieving security. For these three things, there are also specific sub-recipes. To achieve happiness, you have to be surrounded by ones you love, and you have to love someone. To achieve prosperity, you have to constantly work hard and be competitive in your society. You have to excel and win! And last but not least, you have to achieve some sense of security. By security, I mean, not gambling, not cheating on the ones you love and such. You have to be secure in the knowledge that your happiness and riches will not all vanish in a second. Now, I don’t meant this as applying to everyone, but if you ask me, that’s what I think. I think that we need to be secure, happy, and rich in this world to be truly successful in life. Now, cook! ;)

  12. Recipes are a great way to expand your life. They are awesome and fun to use. Thy also make me wonder why the sky is blue. Oh yeah, that is true. To

  14. My life can be seen via my best, and of course my worst recipes

  15. I stopped cleaning the kitchen just now, because I realised that I hadn’t visited the site yet. How appropriate can the daily word be? I was just wondering what to cook and remembering some choice left-overs in the fridge… Mushrooms, left-over beef, and sour cream over brown rice. Tasty!

  16. They can look delicious and taste horrible. They are like snapshots of dream. You don’t know if it’s not yours until you cook it.

  20. I wish this said receipts. I like them. They’re smooth. Apparently if you roll a joint with them it can make you sick. Shame. I like knowing what I wasted my money on, in case I forgot. Or the police think I stole it.

  21. You already gave me this damn word. Why are you making me do it again? i can’t cook god dammit! I almost wrote gook. That’s racist isn’t it? Well, I love asian people. One of the first girls I ever truly liked was asian. Bitch just thought I was pathetic. I haven’t kissed a girl in years. Why won’t that change? What does this have to do with recipes?

  22. I’ve never been one for cooking, I never really thought I could. The idea of touching raw meat disgusts the hell out of me and I’m always afraid it will get me sick. One night I spent an entire night working out recipes for yummy baked goods and making a powerpoint presentation to put them all together. I love my apron. I wish I had a chance to wear it.

  23. I dated a guy and told him I had no idea how to cook when he asked. I actually enjoy cooking. I’m not the best but I have a few recipes up my sleeve. I have no idea why I lied. I also told him I didn’t like spicy food. I do.

  24. How come it seems as if this world comes with its own recipes for disaster? There are times where I know my friends won’t just listen to the kind words of advice, but when there is life on the line, don’t make a recipe for disaster.

Listen for the recipe from a good friend.

  25. instructions to help make things. food, art, disasters. you know the usual. A little twist in each recipe helps create orginiality in an otherwise diverse world.

  26. Mom mixes recipes all the time. She loves to cook and to bake. And I love her hamburgers. They always make me feel like I’m home. You can never beat mom’s burgers. However, you can never beat WoW’s chicken. Or popeye’s for that matter. It’s so good. And fried. And fatty. Which is probably why I’m a fatty. But I really don’t care.

  27. They are the heart of every home. They can warm the soul or go terribly wrong and break the spirit. They bring us to thedinner table after a long day at work. They permit us to talk to speak of our day. Be sure not to always follow them to the T or they are sure to disappoint. Be creative, taste, talk and enjoy.

  28. Helen turned to the judges, poised with their bibs, forks and drool-covered chins. This was going to be the best cooking contest ever. She knew their taste buds were fatigued and raw from tasting the twenty seven other recipes from twenty-seven other contestants. She knew the pleasure centers of their brains were run down by now. Her confidence made her swell with pride, certain the only way to cut through the haze was this, her pièce de résistance: rancid, candied beef entrails garnished with dried and flaked molasses-fed horse manure. She called her dish, “le Gout Doux de la Moo.”

  29. Recipes for disaster are the most meaningful ones. Without disaster life is dull. without disaster life has no flavor. With disaster we learn how to adventure.

  31. i love food, if i could i would make all kinds of food for a living. i wish that it was ok to be fat, because i would eat all different kinds of foods and get fat and not have a care in the world. i would like to make my own recipes and delicious treats, finding out what tastes go together and different flavors and spices. mixing sweet with savory and stuff that nobody would have ever though to put together. culniary school would be super cool.

  32. I didn’t know many recipes. I just found anything that looked like it tasted delicious and threw it in a pot and stirred it. If it happened to taste delicious, I ate it. If not, I threw it out and tried again the next meal. I miss college.

  33. Reminds me of my mother and her home cooking. It’s so tasty and makes me miss home more and more everyday. My mother is like a goddess in the kitchen. She combines amazing food. Her recipes bring me to heaven.

  34. The only recipe that really matters is what you put in your life.

  35. I could never follow recipes.
“But how?” my friends would always protest. “Recipes are easy! You just follow directions!”
Yet try as I might, no matter how many cups I measured or teaspoons I threw into the mix, my recipes would never turn out right. Every recipe ended up being a recipe for disaster.
I never was very good at following directions.

  36. you can flip through a cookbook and find a recipe for pretty much anything you want to make. why doesn’t life have recipes? for happiness, for success, for love, for money, for relationships, for destruction, for creating. for anything. we’re left to amble along and find our way without even a hint. no lists of ingredients, no explicit directions, no recipes.

  37. recipes are very fun to make your own, they can do good or they will be bad, thats why you experiment with everything you cook to make up a final recipe

  39. I suck at them, but when you get a good one…and you prepare it right (Just like mom or grandma does) you pretty much rock everyone elses world who tastes it. You kinda become like a modern day betty crocker! That’s pretty exciting in itself. If you suck, well… you just suck.

  40. Old hands, wrinkled, browned and speckled and aged spotted and creased, lit a pleasant, warm color by the last rays of the winter sun shining through a lace curtain. The smell of freshly baking bread, and the tantalizing mystery of adding ‘until it looks right’. No recipe. never a recipe.
