  1. recall all the information you’ve ever known. everything is already been done, according to buddha et al. there’s nothing you can’t figure out, nothing you can’t remember. i remember your face, and my face next to yours, it looked like one for a time, split in two like time usually does, it’s all we can do when faced with a clock.

  3. recall. I wonder if he will re-call. No, that’s not it, it’s recall, like remember. Do we have to call up our memories like a book from the stack in the National Library? Call them in like a lover calling across the waves?

  6. i recall when everything was okay, and when nothing was bad. i recall being younger, being dressed up in fancy dresses and being placed on riverbanks, or bridges, and being photographed on every birthday. i recall playing games with my father who is now a hating, alcoholic, argumentative man who wants nothing to do with me. i recall having love. i recall feeling secure. i wish it was more than just recall.

  7. recall.. memories.. I remember my T.Y.B.A. years distinctly.. we had to do experiments in cognitive psychology, testing our memory and ability to recall and such.. 8. i recall long ago, that there was someone standing at my bed, whether it was a dream or not i cannot say. They were so very sad, though. I recall the tears like rain that ran down their cheeks drowning me slowly in their saltiness. It was so long ago, I don’t remember the face only the tears. Nothing more

  9. i do recall
how i used to love you
    how you hurt me so
but it was all my fault

  11. I recall the time when I first saw Mike. He walked into the room, hair a little damp from a shower, wearing a Quicksilver t shirt..looking rather uncomfortable. He said hello and sat behind me as we got on with work. He hardly said anything else and soon disappeared. Only to appear and stay in my life.

  12. I recall the day I met her. I was so nervous coming down the escalator, looking around hoping to see her standing there waiting. Instead I saw this girl sitting in one of the chairs by the baggage claim. She had a green shirt with her dark hair past her shoulders and one of those cloth WWF panda bags, her smile made all of my nerves disappear.

  13. Jame froze. He recalled that earlier in the day he say Jenkins with a hammer. Was it the same hammer that killed Holly? Jame had to find out… Jenkins, the gardener, never seemed like the kind of man that had the spine to murder someone. He was always so quiet and kept to himself. Could it be that he had a sick, secret side to him?

  14. As I recall, I have never been skydiving. As if that would matter in a situation like this. It was us VS. them and practice wasn’t going to set us apart. I was on the plane, thousands of feet in the air, looking down at the unforgiving ground.

  16. The last time I saw my friend had to be more than 15 years ago. I remember the first time I bumped into her at an old coffee shop; she had been looking at old antiques, I was trying to hard to hold onto my pile of books I was trying to bring to the front counter. We hit it off after that initial spat. We had another cup of coffee and chatted the rest of the day away.

  17. I can’t recall what time it was. My sister told me that my father had died. I knew he was sick, but they didn’t tell me he was dying. I was so naive–we had been to the hospital–we’d seen him get so skinny. He looked like a prisoner of the Nazi Concentration camps.

What I can recall was his voice, his smile, his after-shave smell. I can recall the way he’d call my name when he would call out for some water for his pills. I can recall when he bought the tent and took us camping right before he died. I recall how we sent him on a plane, and how we took separate cars to the airport, how we had gotten a flat tire, how we never got to say goodbye.

I recall selling everything we had in a yard sale in order to get to him in Florida. I recall we were an hour too late.

I recall that I was only eight-years-old when I was told my father died.

  24. I recall our first kiss and how you pulled me into you. I have never been kissed with so much intensity and passion. I recall all of our passion and how I knew you would hurt me, but it didn’t matter. We barely speak now. I recall you telling me you made a mistake with your decision. Yesterday, you told me that you continuously still believe it was a mistake; come back.

  27. I recall one time in my life where I was extremely happy. I had nothing in the world to worry about, except that my mom might not let me go to the woods that day. I went in these woods called mustang way, it was an old residential street with trailors and a club house. my friend zach lived there, but one time I went to visit, and his house had burnt down and he was gone. I miss those days, but it was so dangerous. I would go back in a heartbeat.

  33. I can recall that day ~

Across the length, across the breadth, somehow you crossed the emptiness.

There you were, here you are, but not the you that you once were.

The void has returned and you are further than ever before.

Did I just dream that day? I cannot recall.

My memory’s a little hazy, and sometimes when I think for too long, I change the way things happened so I’m not quite so sullen thereafter.
