  7. pool. makes you think of a swimming pool or a typing pool which makes me feel old because i haven’t seen a typing pool in years. what about the old photos of typists sitting in a large room with big black typewriters i used to learn to type on a big black typewriter at school with the keys covered and then we had to learn to touch type which was good

  13. Her heart pounded faster and faster as she stepped onto the block. She leaned forward, still as a statue except for nervous energy causing her fingers to twitch and dance. A whistle…the cheering faded away as she bent forward. All she could see was the deep, blue pool before her. All she could hear was her own steady breathing. Then: a flash of light, the starting sound and she dove.

  24. i haven’t been in a pool in awhile, i don’t know why because i love to swim, there’s just something about it. I suppose it’s my love of flying and since i’m not a pilot it’s the next closest thing to flight.
