  1. Swimming in a deep pool of lonliness I found my place of happiness. Deep in the forests of Qubec, I spotted the perfect circular opening where I lay my head. Blue skies fill my heart as I sigh in my place of wonder.

  3. “Want to play pool?” he asked, bored. He was my older brother’s friend, forced to entertain me because his mother told him to. I hesitated.
“It’s easy, I’ll show you how,” he said. “But–” I protested– “I didn’t bring my swimsuit.”

  4. I love a swimming pool, I never used to be able to swim until I was about thirteen or fourteen – except in primary school I got a certificate for crossing a pool in a certain time. It only occurred to me last year that perhaps I just wasn’t doing it right.

  5. Today’s just another perfect day at the pool.
Sun is glimmering across the aqua blue surface of the water. The perfect day to take a sip of some crisp lemonade and relax.

  8. We have a pool. In a pool there is lots of water. Some pools are shaped in funny ways. Some look like rectangles, but some look like kidney beans. We have a rectangular pool. There are also olympic-sized pools. I want to swim in one of those.

  10. Last nite at the hotel, Kit gazed out the window of our 4th floor room upon a dark pool. She commented on how lovely the natural pool looked by moonlite. How it appeared that the water was flowing. I made no response. I’d been here before. I knew by morning she’d see it for what it was. An overflow heat collection pool for the nearby factory.

  11. The pool was unlike any other she had ever seen. Sunlight sparked across the glassy surface of the water like diamonds in the sun and it teased her, summoning her in. If only she could find the strength to jump, she thought, the agony of the summer heat would be relieved.

  12. I drowned a girl in a pool today. The tight wet cloth on her skin pressed against her seven year old body drove me to a point that I couldn’t control, some desire that I could not retract – I pushed my thumbs against her throat and heaved her into the fluid blue mass that saw her demise, and her last gurgling words were help.

  13. Tara screamed as Zane shoved her into the deep end of the pool. He laughed and went looking for other meschief. I chuckled and watched as tara the uber bitch screamed and dramatically started flopping around.

  14. As she stared at the pool, she was flooded with bad memories of her childhood. Being pushed in, floundering, gasping for air, for life. Forty years later the pool didn’t look all that scary, in fact it looked quite peaceful, with the sun sparkling off the serene rippling surface. What was there to be scared of?

  15. i used to swim in pools all the time when i was younger. i was a swimmer, and i secretly hated it. my coach was so mean to me, but i still did it every day. i got up super early for morning practice, and i stayed late for night practice. i got mono from all the hard work i was putting in, and i still sucked. i remember i would sweat and people would ask me where the pool was since i smelled like chlorine.

  16. I like pools because there a clean way to stay cool on a hot summer day…
they are also very pretty and can normaly be found next to jacuziis wich makes them even better…

  17. I dunk my head under, feeling the coolness of the it. The wetness that cannot be wet until air is introduced. Underneath, where there is no oxygen or gravity, and everything is possible, that is where my time is limited.

It seems unfair that the one place where we can be free, will kill or imprison us forever.

  18. I couldn’t look away. It was just too beautiful, startling, and horrifying. The deep scarlet of Charlotte’s blood as it pooled on the pristine white tiles of the master bath – I reached out instinctively to swirl the two colors together, to make a wide swooping shape of blood on the floor with my index finger, but stopped myself just before I actually touched the growing, darkening puddle.

  20. Pool is a place where people swim. Pools are often blue, and filled with water. My favourite thing about pools is when you’re the first person there, and it’s lovely and still. So peaceful. Then, you dive in and your weight causes ripples to spread through the whole place. I love that about pools. That stillness ruined by me.

  23. pools are usually filled with lots of chlorine
I remember once that my hair, when I was younger
    used to be really blonde.
    Bright blonde, and wavy.
My cousins had this giant outdoor pool
and I went in for awhile. A long while.
    My hair then turned green.
I was a little horrified, but ultimately I felt like a mermaid.
A super-cool green haired mermaid that lived in a pool.

I love the way the light bounces off the water, when it’s clear.

  25. “One day,” the girl said to her friend, “I want to be rich. Rich enough for a piano in every room, even in the bathroom. I want to buy a trampoline for the backyard of my mansion for my husband and I to share. I want a pool made of jello, and I want maids! Lots of maids!

“I just need to get through the boring stuff, like college first.” She groaned. “Oh well, I’ll still do it.”

    Kyra
  27. At the pool, Kate excelled. At school, work, everything else in her life she was mediocre, but when she got to swim, she was an artist. Ruby had her amazing drawing skills, Hart could dance better than anyone else, but Kate could swim forever and make it look amazing.

  28. He sat on the edge of the pool, staring at his cousins.

“What are you looking at?” Rooster always sounded angry.

Grey shrugged. “Nothing. The water. You people.”

There was a snort of laughter from Rooster and he swam off.

Grey continued to watch. A martini would have been nice, but he doubted he’d get one.

  29. I am jumping into the pool. My heart is pounding, I am loving every moment of it. The water is cold, I am swimming,, finally swimming, how much I love it It is my childhood. It is everything. I don’t mind the chemicals, I don’t mind anything anymore because I am finally swimming. Who knows the next time or if I will ever be able to swim in the pool again. I need to step back and enjoy life.

  31. in the gene pool, Sara had come out as a winner. She had all the looks, the smarts, and the luck. Yes, somehow there was luck involved. She could win any poker game, and did, so often that she simply gave up. It was all too easy, and none of it satisfied her anymore. That’s why when she met Jonathan, she felt she’d met her match.

  32. I like to swim in the pool. As a kid I remember memories of swimming. Outdoor swimming, indoor swimming (at the rec center) was alot of fun. We would go to the rec while our dad’s went and played basketball and hang out in the pool the whole time. It was alot of fun. I miss those days. It’s funny

  33. She stood over the girl with the pink hair, who was lying on the black asphalt, a pool over her vivid red blood forming around her head like a halo, reflecting the light from the parking lot’s street lamps as they shone through the dark night.

    Moxie Mezcal
  34. Swimming, diving, relaxing, what not to look about pools but the fact that they poor so much chloric acid in the pools to kill all bacteria.
One conclusion: the pools water is disgusting due to people swimming in it with their athletes feet and peeing kids.

    Jackoff
  35. The pool, a place full of stupid ‘cool’ kids.
We all hate them, the so-called cool kids that will fuck around and keep annoying you.
But what is most irritating is when they think splashing you is funny…

  39. It was a refreshing day at the pool. Old man hank was sitting on his front porch ready to take a refreshing dive untill something in the corner of his eye had caught his attention: there was a mouse sitting on the edge of his chair.
‘Woah, who the heck are you?’, said Hank on which the mouse replied: ‘I’m not here, you’re just going through a mental breadkdown…’

  40. She kicked her toes into the pool, savoring its cool touch. She actually liked the smell of chlorine, though she hated to admit it.

He bobbed out of the water and pushed a huge wall of water at her. She winced. “Hey, watch it! My perm’s still not set.”
